The second barely had time to recover before Asher spun, his powerful body moving with frightening precision. Another swipe, and another lifeless body crashed against the dirt.

Blood sprayed in dark arcs that caught the strange, too-bright moonlight and glittered like spilled ink. The Crimson Claw pack was smaller but fiercer, red-brown fur flashing like embers. They fought dirty: going for throats, hamstrings, eyes. One of them, a lean female with white streaks on her flanks, leapt onto the back of a Silverfang warrior and clamped her jaws around his neck. He thrashed, yelped once, went still.

He looked so beautiful with dim moonlight falling over his thick black coat that I had a strong urge to stroke his soft fur. His head was tall, up in the sky while his eyes were fixed on the water falling in front of him. Though he was sitting, still his stern expressions and attentive posture told he was ready to jump on any danger coming his way. For a moment I thought it was Ash because his wolf was the same as the one in front of my eyes but he had a hint of blue shine in his fur which told me it was someone else. Ash wolf, Blaze is jet black in colour with no other colour on him but this wolf... He is black with a hint of blue shine in it.

Beside him stood Imogen’s wolf, a sleek, gray-colored wolf. Smaller in size compared to Asher’s muscular form, but still radiating danger. Her build was more feminine, but nothing about her looked weak.

The rogue charged again. She moved faster this time. She dodged the next blow, spun, and raked her claws across his ribs. Blood splattered. He howled, more animal than man now. His jaw cracked wider, bones shifting under stretched flesh. Behind her, Asher and Bran were locked in a brutal rhythm—Asher was half-shifted, teeth bared, fur across his back. Bran had him by the throat, but Asher twisted and sank his claws into Bran’s thigh, tearing muscle.

As the only kit in the Clan she wanted the Clan to believe that she was warrior material. Cats crept forward despite the cold winds that lashed out at them. Leafbare was still in full swing and the snow that covered their camp made it more apparent. Sprucekit spotted Wildheart and Harewhisker sitting together. Leafshine sat nearby with Sootpaw beside her. Ferretpelt and Whitebirch sat further apart as the two were always arguing over the short-haired tom's attitude. As usual Twigfur and Berrystripe were the last to approach.
