I fist-bumped Dustin when we met in the hallway.
“Bran, is there a problem?” he asked Bran, who refused to acknowledge him.
Bran didn’t dignify him with a response.
“He is mad at you,” I pointed out.
“Why? What did I do?” Dustin asked.
“He thinks you’re a traitor who spent Saturday frolicking around with Max and the girls. She’s like our mortal enemy, why did you do that? Such a deep betrayal,” Johnny said, sarcasm dripping from his tone.
“What? Trevor went, too, and he made me go,” Dustin said. He needed to remain on Bran’s good side if he wanted free assignments like us.
