The Devil's Embrace

The Devil's Embrace

“Yes, we risk making it boring. But, I think Mr. Rick will appreciate an organized paper rather than a messy one. Besides, we can pick two interesting works.” “What do you have in mind?” he asks softly. For no reason, his mellow voice and cooperativeness give my heart a certain jittery. It slowly starts pounding in a fluttering way. My expression softens considerably and so does my voice. “What about 1984 and Brave New World? Both are dystopian novels, but the societies described in each book are different. We can discuss the social orders and their influence on the societies.” That’s when I hear a long heavy sigh. He twirls his pen and looks up at me, revealing his sharp handsome features.

OMG😍😍 I love the story and the characters. Cain is a heartthrob❤️ There is a certain charm to the story. The writing is spectacular ❤️ The characters connect with my heart so well. I could vividly imagine the scenes in my head. Waiting for the romance between the characters Good luck, author❤️❤️

at first i thought it'll be the casual CEO-fell-in-love-with-his-employee story LOL. but i thought wrong. the storyline and the writing style here are very nice. the author really did a good job in creating the characters here. their background information is well explained and very detailed.

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

“It will be much like it was at the World’s Fair opening, Evelyn. Simply follow my lead. Can you do that?” Evelyn’s pulse kicked up a notch. Their trip to the World’s Fair had been like visiting an alternate existence. It went beyond simply politely 'familiar'. That had been an imaginary World of Tomorrow where the natural hierarchy and boundaries of wealth and social status had been erased, like the idealized Democracity or the egalitarian Futurama. Where people attracted to one another were free to explore that gift in each other's company without question.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

Sleeping with my Mate’s brother

Sleeping with my Mate’s brother

Nyxaria I didn't know a tiny pane of glass could hold so much madness. Nobody was holding a knife to my throat or forcing me to stare, but the damn thing just drew me in deeper with every glowing page. One minute I was checking the city's perimeter, and the next, I was deep into something called "global warming." Honestly, the human world was a beautifully disorganized disaster. Apparently, human men had spent centuries hogging all the power just to burn the planet to a crisp.

Escaping The World: Lost in Book (book 1)

He stared down at my book. "I don't know how you feel that is enough to truly escape." He shakes his head at my method. "I find it a bit more lasting than drinking. Other than that they are pretty much the same. They both leave you broken at the end of the experience. But at least you can take something away from reading." He scoffs at my words. "What could you possibly take away from reading?" He spits. "How on earth can it help you escape like drinking or drugs can?"

~~~~~~~~~~ BOOK OF BLOOD — NEW ENTRY "The world blinked, and everything false burned away. That wasn’t war. That wasn’t revolution. That was one boy whispering ‘no’ loud enough for empires to kneel." "They will call him god. But we know better. We call him ours." — Aria
PRETEND YOU MINE
PRETEND YOU MINE
He wouldn't be in my home right now. Once Neil and Elaina showed up, I felt a little more at ease in my own house. Clarkson went in to help Brynne and Marie in the kitchen while Gabrielle and Elaina seemed to hit it off by talking books-something trending about a very young billionaire and his obsession with an even younger woman... and sex. Lots of erotic sex scenes in the book, like apparently on every page. Neil and I looked sympathetically at each other and had absolutely nothing to add to the conversation. I mean, who reads this crap? Who has time? Why even read about sex in a book when you can have it instead? I don't get that. And billionaires in their twenties? I mentally shook my he
Never To Be Loved Again
Never To Be Loved Again
Ash Parvad looked at the queen with eyes of glinting fascination. “I quite enjoyed reading that book, Your Majesty. It struck me with strong interest that the author compares bees to humans of their struggle against the weather and other dangers to create beeswax is equivalent to humans working together to create precious commodities, the beeswax being the sweetness the title is referencing,” Ash Parvad said. “Yes. That sweetness represents the systems of humanities that we must keep that helps us form a better society. The main point of the book was the highlight of creating talented men and to work hard for their livelihoods as if every day was a battle.”
Chasing My Pregnant Wife
Chasing My Pregnant Wife
The author is sick in the mind and disgusting. The author zoomed in on this comment and said, "Are you even a human? Let's take it that you are for a moment. Just reading through your comment gives me an idea of the kind of person you are, one with no brains and easily swayed by what other people say. She said that the earth is square and you immediately know for sure that that is true? Can't you check it up online? You're so brainless and so easily incited by malicious comments. If you think my book is trash, just don't read it and leave quietly. No one's forcing you to read it, but you let yourself get swayed by malicious comments. You hopped on the bandwagon and started scolding me withou
I have never seen an author that actually doesn't care about the readers or the characters! Then a false introduction to get us to read it since he doesn't find out she's pregnant! Then you hurt Theo and Rose even allowing him to miss birth of his son and keep adding skanky whores cause more pain!
