My blood could clearly be seen on the floor and it was really hurting, I can't take this anymore, I really can't. "Kareem please, it's hurting please" I begged. "Keep quiet! One more word from you and I'll do worst than this" "Ka...Ka....Kareem" I said and fell down, then darkness took over me.

Pushing himself up to his feet, Daniel stood before the Emperor defiantly. As the Emperor decided on his next move, the vision of a scarlet-haired woman came to Daniel's mind. Her teary blue eyes pierced through Daniel's soul as she put her hands together and begged him for help. "Please save us Daniel. Only you can bring us back." Daniel closed his eyes as his heart started to thump against his chest and a warm surge of adrenaline coursed through his veins. He took a ragged breath as her voice brought goosebumps to his arms and neck. While the last faint notes of her sweet tone left his ears, Daniel whispered, "I'm coming."

Her eyes fly open, but she sees nothing, pupils blown wide with shock. The bond explodes between us like a star being born. I drop to my knees, unprepared for the sensory onslaught. Across from me, Rain does the same, a strangled sound escaping his throat. Dawn's consciousness floods into mine—fragments of her fear as she faced Sorin, her wonder at Rain's dragon form, her confusion and pain as the shadow magic drained her light. Beneath those immediate sensations run deeper currents—her determination, her loneliness, her hunger for belonging.

'Boom' In the vast darkness of the quiet highway, the car blasted and all its parts were blown to smithereens. Tang Li panted as she rested her head on Mo Yuhan's chest, she tried to calm her racing heartbeats and looked at the scene that looked like a fountain of fire. Her hazel eyes had a layer of coldness. POV DARLENE Dawn at the Blood Wolves' fortress did not arrive with the singing of birds, but with the sound of metal striking stone and the roars of training that made the walls of my new prison vibrate.
