Wanton Hearts

Wanton Hearts

"Oh, Ivana! She is so grown-up! What does she do?" "Ivana is a part-time photographer. Brie is--" "Do not remind me of Belinda's brat!" Eve interrupted rudely. "Well, Brie is my brat, too!" Orlando gulped down the whisky. "I want a divorce! From both you and Belinda!" "What? You cannot divorce Belinda because your marriage is null and void, in the first place!" "Whatever! I will divorce both of you! I want my life!" Orlando took down a shot of whisky again. His gut was hollow.

The Bride

The Bride

He failed to see the beauty in our union, the depth of emotion that bound Gabby and me together in a bond stronger than any piece of paper or ceremony could ever hope to convey. “Their marriage is just as valid and legal as any other marriage performed at this church,” the tension in the church reached a fever pitch as Father Able intervened, his voice firm as he asserted the validity of our marriage. “They have signed legal papers according to governing laws and they are now legally wedded wives. You, Mr. Davis, better accept the truth.” “Like hell I would!” He spat, his hands balled to fists by his side. Jordan's refusal to accept the truth only served to deepen the divide, his stubbornnes

From Best Friend To Fiancé

From Best Friend To Fiancé

Four days of walking around each other like ghosts haunting the same house. “Savannah, are you listening to me?” I nod. “Yes.” “Do you understand what I'm saying?” He asks like he's speaking to a child. I shake my head. “Not exactly.” “He’s going to push for a fault-based divorce — adultery. And if he wins, he could walk away with half of everything she owns. Especially if he argues she used joint funds during the affair.” I should be relieved he’s even speaking. And I am. But then—he keeps talking.

Be prepared that although this story is mainly romance, it’s also complex full of betrayal, wrongdoing, and lies. There are morally gray characters, themes of dark romance, lots of spice, and intense drama. I loved the chaotic and fierce love that is Roman and Savannah and glad they got their HEA :)

My Husband Divorce Me, So I Married His Father

My Husband Divorce Me, So I Married His Father

“No babe. I can't stand the sight of her. She irritates me to the core. “ Looking at the earth, I realized how pitiful she was. I just made myself look in front of them. Cleaning off my tears, I took the paper divorce paper and signed it. The moment I finished, Freddie took the papers from me immediately, like he couldn't wait anymore. “Leave,” he said. “You didn't bring anything into this house anyway, so don't take anything out.” I couldn't protest, not utter a word. I stood there for a few seconds, looking at the two people who destroyed everything I believe in. Then I turned around, with nothing other than my health. Of course I should be grateful I'm walking out of here alive. Most marr

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

Atticus affirmed, “I’m here because I need your help with something.” “How can I assist you, Mr. Atticus? If I can, I’ll give it my all.” He looked as if he were grappling with his thoughts, trying to find the right words. Then he said two words that shocked me. “Divorce!” I was stunned for a good while. “Mr. Atticus, are you joking? I’m afraid I can’t help you with this. It’s not easy to dissolve one marriage. I can’t involve myself in just anything. Besides, you’re well aware of how your sister-in-law feels about me. I...”

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

You Want That Watch? Then Watch Me Leave

You Want That Watch? Then Watch Me Leave

"I said I want a divorce. All because of that watch." I opened the page where my signature already waited and pushed it toward her. The crowd erupted. "Has he lost his mind? The Burke family heir is divorcing over an old watch? What kind of joke is this?" "He must be putting on a show to spice up the wedding." "Poor Yasmin. She married a crazy man and got humiliated on her own wedding day." Their whispers pierced through her pride like countless sharp needles. Tears welled up at once. Her eyes reddened, her lips quivered, yet she couldn't say a single word.

When I Walked Away

When I Walked Away

I was never like her. I turned my head and glanced at the torn pieces floating in the pool, calmly pointing out, “You might be misunderstanding something. I’m serious about divorcing you. The divorce papers were handed to the lawyer two weeks ago. By now, the papers probably have already been processed.”

Never to look back

Never to look back

The officer who liked to watch other people’s gossip almost couldn’t stop himself from clapping and cheering the valiant lady before him. “Officers, this man divorced me in order to marry his mistress even before I left home.” Bridgette’s eyes were red with hatred as she pointed at Rufus “He forced me to sign the divorce statement while I was lying paralysed, threatening me with the life of my five-year-old son.” “If you were paralysed, how did you sign?” The young officer asked innocently without thinking.

A Divorce Over a Nap

A Divorce Over a Nap

"Chris is still in shock. Send him home for me." She helped Chris to his feet and tried to pass him to me. I didn't hesitate at all before I kicked Chris to the floor. "Do you take me for a fool, Elena?" I demanded. Elena shot a furious look at me as she hurriedly shielded Chris behind her. "I won't let you off the hook if anything happens to Chris, Thomas!" I had run out of patience to entertain them. I waved my phone at Elena and said, "Sign the divorce papers as soon as possible if you don't want everyone to find out that the almighty Ms. Clifford is having an affair."
