Brittany ask them while standing there, the 10 men glance at each other they are waiting for the time when who's gonna go first there are hesitating to attack cuz of the rumors that Agent 008/Brittany is a bully that no one can beat her, Brittany's opponents are juniors and newbie in the Agency the old men's are not gonna fight so they push the juniors to fight her.

"I know, but Damon…" My mother had suddenly appeared at the door, attracted by the brewing noise; her eyes had grown wide as she spotted Damon and Cassandra half-naked. "What is the meaning of this, Damon? Annie, why are you sobbing?" Cassandra seized the opportunity. She pointed at the pizza I mistakenly spilled on the floor. "Look, Mrs. Scarlett! Your ‘precious’ daughter tried to sneak in and attack Damon! She's trying to get obsessed with him! She doesn't want to accept that the Alpha already chose me. A few drinks, the right timing, and the scandal writes itself.”

Taylor’s expression hardened, though not in defense of the maid as she approached. “Brittany,” she called out, taking a step toward her but she didn't answer. She just crossed her arms, her face contorted into a heavy, ugly pout, completely ignoring her mother. She was deeply spoiled, and she knew exactly how to use her moods to get what she wanted. Hilary sighed, walking over to placate her as she gently stroked her daughter's hair, “What is wrong, sweetheart? Tell mommy what happened?” Brittany threw herself onto the dining chair, her voice dripping with venom, “Two students joined our school today. And I hate the twin girl so much already.”

"You'd be worse than this if you had." I groan, rub my face in my hands at something else I have no clue about and don't really want to find out. "Yeahhh," She laughs. "Let's have that conversation when you're feeling a bit less like a corpse." Pushing the existential crises aside, I press further. "Are you bonded?" Valentine's expression turns horrified. "Absolutely not, bitch. I'm a Beta." The relief in her voice is extraordinary. "Thank fuck." The last of my magic drink goes down the wrong hole and I choke.

“But I did better than him, didn’t I, Mom?” Brittany chuckles, nodding. “Chris is doing a damn good job. Running the Telanov empire… he’s successful.” I blink. Then blink again. “Wait a damn minute,” I say, leaning forward slightly. “Are you seriously telling me that you two yahoos gave birth to Chris Telanov Washington?” Brittany smiles like she just won a prize. “In the flesh.” I let out a short laugh, shaking my head. “What the fuck is this?” I mutter. “A participation trophy ceremony? Just because you exist doesn’t make you a genius.”

Evelyn's POV "I, Alpha Kyle Turner, reject you, Evelyn Sanders, as my mate." Alpha Kyle hoarse voice boomed in my ears making me freeze on my tracks, his voice laced with disgust. Crack! A cracking sound resounded inside my body and I felt as if a part of me was forcefully torn and taken away. My wolf howled in pain but there was nothing I could do about it. Tears flowed down my face as the pain became immeasurable, increasing with each second to the point I was unable to tolerate it. I could care less about the gazes on me. I was already used to it.
