he uttered, leaving me devastated. The concept of heartbreak had always seemed abstract to me, but at that moment, I was experiencing its tangible reality. Asher’s gaze locked with mine as he uttered those words, and it felt like his words pierced my chest like a sharp dagger. Instantly, a profound sense of emptiness engulfed my being, as if a vital part of my soul had been irretrievably lost. In many ways, it had. I had lost my soul. I lost my mate. Tears started surfacing in my eyes, and there was no way I could hold them back. Unable to look at Asher, I turned away and started walking toward the exit. A small part of me hoped that perhaps he would follow me. But he didn’t.

He had not only broken my heart but my trust, my willingness to love another again and my soul. "Baby please - I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I am so so sorry. I have a problem baby, I was trying and trying but then -" He breathed heavy as his eyes started to pool with tears. "Please don't leave me beautiful, I ne - I need you. I can't live without you, please." His voice cracked as the violent tears waterfalled down his eyes. And the worst part was my heart hurt more for him than it did for myself.

We both were panting as I could feel our heartbeat becoming fast by each passing. I brushed my lips against his lips which were quivering in dread and spoke huskily. "....How come you are a heartbreaker when you are heartbroken yourself?" And that was it, all it took was this sentence to break him apart, to scatter him. My statement broke his heart. I asked sadly as a tear fell from his eyes. He was on the verge of a breakdown. He couldn’t bear it anymore.

He starts sobbing almost immediately, and her heart breaks for him. “Oh, Sweetie. That’s it let it all out. I’m here. I love you. I can take your sadness, as much as your anger. I will bear it all to have you. Do you hear me.” He nods, still sobbing and clinging to her. “I have had people angry at me for most of my life for one reason or another, and most of them would have killed me if I couldn’t handle it. The man didn't say anything else as he continued drinking. "What's up with you? You should take it easy. Things aren't all that bad. " I tried cheering him up even though I've got my own problems. "I don't need advice from women. Besides all you ever do is hurt those who loves you." I get it. He's suffering from a Heartbreak. Does he know that I'm also going through that too? "I'm also suffering from heartbreak. The man I love left me for another woman and it's so annoying." I told him.

"It's been a month but I didn't know you were still so angry with me? Maybe you still love me until now." "Where did you get the thickness of your face, Kevyn? You should be ashamed of yourself, you are too airy to be out of place. Maybe I loved you back then because I still made you feel good back then, but now? Not anymore. I I'm really stupid because I loved someone like you and that's what I regretted. And since we broke up I realized that you're not a loss because you're worthless." I promised before going inside.

A sudden tear rolled down my cheek. In the lonely night, he let out his misery, isolated from the world so no one could see the concealed emotions which were shattered and he could swiftly emitted them through his symphony; obliviously. Lit by a single flare of hope to find solace in the embrace of someone he loves; I broke for being his mate. Nothing. But a cruel game of fate for both of us, leaving us at the point of our lives where we are hopeless.

I couldn’t stop the tears from falling then and they cascaded down my cheeks like waterfall. My legs turned jelly and I slumped on the floor, my eyes not leaving the window. Just why?
