For a moment, they simply breathed together, his steady inhales syncing with her slower, deeper ones. His arm stayed draped around her waist, fingers tracing idle patterns on her abdomen, light enough to send faint tingles skittering across her nerves. After some minutes, he shifted slightly, reaching for the soft sea-green square sponge that floated nearby and bobbed against the tub's side. Then he squeezed a dollop of soap onto it, the scent of lavender blooming fresh and floral. "Let me take care of you," he murmured, his voice a low rumble against her ear.

I clean in small circles. I focus on his massive body again. His tight muscles relax. And are so smooth under my soapy hands. His gorgeous caramel skin is so soft with its light dusting of dark curly hair. I love seeing the bubbles cling to his hair. I take my hand, make a soapy fist and blow some bubbles giggling. I love bubbles! He peeks one curious crystal blue eye open. To see what I'm doing. Amused he chuckles. "Are you having fun, Babe?"

I stared at him for a moment, waiting for the punchline that never came. “So…” I said slowly, blinking. “Dishwashing soap?” His smile faltered. “It’s solvent technology, actually,” he corrected, puffing his chest. “Not some—” “Right,” I said, nodding seriously. “So… bubbles. You’re the bubble guy.”

Get the sponge, Liora. "Yes, sir," I whisper to the stone tiles, my voice small, entirely intimidated as I reach for the natural sea-sponge resting on the marble tray. My breath is completely trapped in my throat as he step down into the deep, steaming water, his large frame submerging beneath the froth until only his broad shoulders are exposed. I force my trembling knees to slide closer to the edge of the tub, dipping the sponge into the water, my heart pounding so loudly I am certain he can hear it. "Is... is the temperature alright, Mr. Hawthorne?"

I guess now we're back where we started from, back where it is safe and there's no room for anyone getting hurt. I finish up with my brushing routine and set to get naked for my bath. This bathroom though, is just like a dream if I am asked, it's like something straight out of a magazine with its size and furnishings. I pull the tank top I'd fallen asleep in over my head and then stripped out of the shorts I'd paired it with, leaving my body covered in only my flimsy, lacy bra that I shouldn't have worn to sleep and the mismatched SpongeBob SquarePants panties I have on.

The disappointment did not leave his form even after all these years. The silence was deafening in the room. The only sound that could be heard came from the aquarium. It was the sound of bubble swarm to add water flow for the fish to breath. It sounded just like a bubble machine in Jai’s previous world, but the machine in this aquarium was different in the sense that it wasn’t made of plastic nor metal. Jai didn’t know what it was made of, but he was somehow grateful that it could distract him a bit in the silence.

~Lola’s Point of View~ “Who lives in a pineapple under the sea … Spongebob square … pants,” I mumbled, as I struggled to open my eyes. “Sponge what,” a gruff voice said. My eyes rolled around a bit, but I couldn’t focus. Who doesn’t know Spongebob? He’s the best.

“What’s wrong with looking for SpongeBob?” He’s fighting a smile. I can see it in the way his mouth twitches. “Nothing, if that’s your thing. I’m sure I could find you a SpongeBob centre. T-shirts. Balloons. A life-sized mascot, too. Just say the words and it’s all yours.” “No thanks,” I say, pulling down the sun visor and flipping open the mirror. I check my reflection and, thankfully, my anxiety didn’t melt my mascara. “I’m more of a Squidward girl.”

“What? Spongeboob?” She releases a high-pitched sound between a scream and a giggle. “I think SpongeBob is ridiculous too baby” Kissing her once more, this time on her cute little button nose, I get off my knees to join Niko where our dinner is dished out in covered plates. "You didn't have to wait for me," I say lowly. When I’m close enough he takes my hand, bringing it to his nose, sniffing at my skin. “You like?” I ask smiling. “It’s a new body butter, Mama sent it over earlier and I thought to try it out.”

"THERE!!" "BASTARD MONKEY!!!" I whined while covering my chest. A goofy smile appeared on Bennet's lips when he saw my bra. "Hmmm. Spongebob huh!" It was like a hot wind whistling in my ears. Sweetness! "What's wrong with a bra with a Spongebob print on it?!" I whine. "Nothing," replied Bennet. "Spongebob is cute. And it's cuter when it was printed on brassiere in... A Cup?"
