The trespasser had challenged his dominance, crossed into the pack-marked territory, and hunted on said territory, not forgetting that what, or rather who, he was hunting was not only a local, or so Aiden hoped, but also the current target of his strange fixation.
His large, darkening grey form crashed into his scrawny, thin, muddy brown one. His jaw clamped around the scruff of his neck, and a loud, high-pitched whine of pain escaped the rogue. Aiden shoved the rogue to the ground, using the grip he had on his neck as leverage. The rogue growled loudly and bit into my right foreleg. The wolf howled at the sudden pain, letting go of the muddy rogue’s neck, and taking a step back.
