I nodded once. Together, we pressed Y.
The screen erupted into light. A low hum filled the air, growing into a deafening roar as every signal in the network began to self-destruct. We stepped back, watching as data wiped itself in cascading bursts, years of corruption vanishing in seconds.
Somewhere deep in the system, Morgan’s voice surfaced again, fractured and fading.
“Goodbye, Ava… Liam… burn it all…”
And then silence.
The terminal went dark. The bunker lights flickered one last time before dying completely.
