Cafe Libri Novels & Stories

Dmitri guided the awe-struck tourist. Then, Dmitri took the tourist to a vintage looking coffee bar on the right, made of reclaimed wood, where soft classical music was playing in the background. "This Book Café is known for its gourmet mochas that are named after books," Dmitri explained the reason behind the christening of the beverages on the menu. "Wow ! I have never heard of such a thing in my life !!" The tourist exclaimed.

The cafe was located at a street close to her precint. As Detective Sophia entered the cafe, she noticed the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air. The sound of a soft jazz tune playing in the background created a cozy ambiance. The cafe was dimly lit, with small, circular tables scattered throughout the room. The walls were decorated with rustic wooden panels, giving the cafe a vintage feel. A large chalkboard hung behind the counter, displaying the different types of coffee and snacks available. A few people were sitting at the tables, chatting and sipping their drinks, while others were typing away on their laptops.

I was already in my nightclothes, so I just threw on an oversized jacket before I headed to the Cafe. The Cafe on the fourth floor was actually just a stem of the library, it was a place where books and food were allowed in case people get hungry. There was quite a lot of 3rd and 4th years that were also studying. There was a group of law majors from Iota and there was also a small group from doctoring. Of course, there were also other houses, but I was not familiar with them and their courses. The only group I knew that was not from Iota was Ceasar's group.

Then, Adam spoke. "I'm hungry, wanna eat something?" "Sure. How about a pizza?" Taylor grinned. "There's no pizza here, idiot." Ricky retorted, and they went back to staring blankly towards the ceiling. "Ah, right. Apparently the literature club's cafe is getting a lot of costumers. Wanna go check them out?" Adam suggested. He might've gotten the info from one of his agents AKA the 'eyes' and 'ears'. "Cafe, huh? Does it have pizza?" Taylor grinned again.

The second the hot beverage hit her tongue, she couldn’t refrain herself and spit it all out. Old Al’ and Mat waves of laughter resonated in the café while Bianca was trying to get her composure back. « Ohlala what is that ? » she had now teary eyes and the sourness was killing her. Old Al’ gave her a glass of water « This is what people here call cow piss… » « Excuse me! I like to call it the sorcerer’s coffee grounds » said half vexed Mat. « I can make you another one, it might be good… we never really know. »

"You can not go anywhere, so just sit still." Phidian turned with two cups of coffee in her hands which she placed in front of them. Liam looked up and smiled at her before picking up his cup, bringing it to his lips and taking a sip. Leticia stared at her cup for the longest, the dark liquid was unsettled and the steam rising from it danced in the air before disappearing. What was this coffee made of anyway, the aroma that hit her nostrils was not the same aroma of coffee she was used to but if Liam was taking it then it should be fine, right?

She was a queen in every way. And she knew it. At least, a part of her did. Or maybe that part just liked to think so. Walking down the quiet streets of Harlington— SREYA SLAMMED THE book shut with a sigh as her soft chocolate brown orbs scanned The Kofièn. Twenty years ago, the prestigious Persian Magazine had noted this as the best Café in Tales, but as she watched the senescent worn out curtains and mildly stained tiles, she couldn't help but admit that it had aged quite well over the years.

I replied, shaking his hand briefly before pulling it back, a tingle left in its place. “So, Kalia, what’s so captivating in that book of yours that you almost missed the best coffee in town?” He nodded toward my cup. I tilted my head, considering him. “You are assuming I don’t already know that this place has the best coffee.” He raised an eyebrow. “Fair enough. But now I’m curious about the book.” I held it up, the cover facing him. “It’s a mystery novel. Keeps me on my toes.” He leaned in slightly, intrigued. “A mystery, huh? So, you like solving puzzles?”

"I'm so sorry if this bores you, but Enrique and I met in the most uninteresting manner possible, right my love?" Grace laughed, giving Enrique the signal to fill in for her. Catching her signal, Enrique was quick to reply with, "yes, that's the best way to describe our first meeting. You see, Lila here has plans of running a book cafe and the amazing thing is that she chose one of my properties for the location." "Really? That's great, tell us more about it? I would absolutely love to be your regular customer, Lila," Sophia said.

Ashwin adjusted the display of freshly baked pastries at Mount Haven Bookstore and Café, his fingers brushing against the warm surface of a croissant as he arranged them neatly on the counter. The smell of coffee, sugar, and aged books blended into a comforting atmosphere that made it one of his favorite places in the world.
