Penny was a person of loyalty and righteousness. She always spoke her mind directly and straightforwardly, never being ambiguous or tricky. However, it was precisely because of her straightforward nature that she could be easily taken advantage of by malicious individuals.

In the future, if Presley ever crossed my mind at all, it would probably only be because of that ten-cents discrepancy on the electricity bill. And then, I would smile. I stared at the coin in my hand; it was large, unlike an actually penny , I realized it must have been some sort of a decorative piece or an heirloom as it was pure gold . I knew he looked sophisticated and rich but this mind of wealth ? No it was surreal . I cant believe my eyes. " It's a family heirloom." Jeremy Sanchez spoke confirming my thoughts . The girl on the toilet looked at me, I nodded. "Is this her?" the girl asked. "Yeah," Penny said, then to me, "do you have the money or what?" "No, I couldn't get enough," I explained in a very soft voice. Penny smiled, and I think she was happy I was unprepared to pay her.

Annoyed with herself for not being able to block his presence, she pressed her shaking hands into her lap. ‘If you keep scowling like that, no one will dare come over for a reading.’ Penny, Rachel’s younger sister by five years, plopped down in the overstuffed chair with the grace of a tired puppy. Wearing a loosely woven dress of cobalt-blue cotton trimmed with colorful beads, Penny had completed her outfit by adding half a dozen earrings in each ear and enough bracelets and rings to start her own jewelry store.
