There was no trace of Daniel, except for his small school shoe left near the breached back gate. David’s mobile phone vibrated. A video message arrived from an unknown number. With trembling hands, David opened the message. Olivia, who had just arrived, following in a car, ran closer and looked at the phone screen over David's shoulder. The video showed an old man with half of his face covered in burn scars, sitting in a luxurious chair. Behind him, Daniel appeared tied up, his mouth gagged with duct tape, his eyes wet from crying in fear. “Hello, David. Do you want your son to survive? Look! His neck is so smooth. What if this sword slices his neck?”

My mother added, inquisitively. “Y-Yes, Your Majesty. I am.” Daniel uttered, seeming elated that my mum knew who he was. “Mum, this is Daniel, Cayden’s Beta. He was the one that I told you has been held captive in a Rogue Camp.” I said formally. My mum knew who Daniel was based on her General knowledge of the mission reports and I haven’t exactly had the time to run her through some other things. All I could talk about since I got back was the Rogue mission failure and the traitors in the Palace. I haven’t even told her about Lucil yet.

Daniel ordered, “What is everyone doing? Get moving! Start setting up our camp.” All of the soldiers were from special forces and acted quickly. They took out their bags from the vehicles and hurriedly walked toward the riverside to set up their camp. James sat on a rock near the riverside. Daniel went over to him and handed him a cigarette. “I quit smoking.” James waved his hand and refused it. Daniel lit his cigarette and looked at the hundred-meter-wide river in front of them. He asked, “James, what are you looking for?” James explained, “An underground cavern. Daniel, send someone to ask the nearby residents if there are any caverns around this area.”

I walk towards Liam and when I get to him, I stretch my hand down to him for a handshake " Hi, I'm callum Dove, the president of the student body council of the school and I'm at your service. Kendra helped me stand and found some sweatpants and a shirt in a drawer helping me put them on and we made our way out of the room walking upstairs where we were face to face with Dash and Dane who seemed to be in a stance for battle. I clung to Kendra, and Dane’s eyes flicked over to me, growing wide as he took in my battered body. His eyes glowed red and his body tensed with anger as his gaze tore from me to his brother. “You will die today brother…” He growled, turning the floor beneath our feet into an earthquake. “And I will show you no mercy.”

He just started dodging Alex's obvious punches and kicks. This went on for a while and the remaining pack members left what they were doing and they started cheering them on. He started moving closer to him and before he went to stand over him, he gave him a big kick at his lower back and Alex shouted in excitement. Entering the cabin, Davie saw Sal and Ashley were still in the bedroom. Rachel was smiling at Daniel and pointing at various pages. She asked several inane questions of him.

“Oh it is that particular “small issue '' '' Daniel replied quoting. ‘Now I feel embarrassed’ I thought. I dozed off, and after a few minutes, I was woken up by their loud debates. I kept my eyes closed even though I was awake. "Now, turn right. The destination is on the left" said Daniel. "How do you know that?" Daisy and Dylan asked simultaneously. "I told you, I always come here to archery," he replied, sounding vexed. "Oh, my goddess! Aha! It's Abigail, right? Please tell me it's her" asked Daisy squealing in excitement. "Yes, it's Her. But keep it down, she's sleeping," replied Daniel with a low voice. "I knew it! I liked this Girl the first minute I saw her."

And because their TV is 75 inches, it's like watching a live-action movie there. "Oh my god, Lord, please protect my husband. I promise I will be kind to him, never fight with him, and bring my husband home alive, but of course, there should be no scars. A wound is okay, but I hope there won't be any."
