I went down and had a quick breakfast and headed out to wait for Jazz and within two minutes of standing outside, Jazz's Honda Civic came into my view. "Hey girl" Jazz greeted as she parked in front of me. "How are you?" I reply to her. "I'm good, you? " She answered with a cheerful smile. "So how was the party?" I questioned. "It was sick as hell girl you missed a lot." " Oh yeah? Well I hope you made up time to study for the test." "Yes I did, smarty pants." She rolled her eyes and kept on driving. I was looking outside when a familiar song came on the sound system I leaned in closer and noticed it was 'The monster' by Eminem and Rihanna.

"Camilla, it is wonderful to meet you. Your voice is incredible, and we are thrilled to have you join us." I was nervous, but I was relieved that the manager seemed friendly. Ziah looked around and stood behind me as members of the band entered, introducing themselves with a mix of punk rock swagger and friendly smiles. Jake, the lead guitarist, had bright pink hair and tattoos; Emily, the drummer, wore ripped fishnets and smiled warmly; and Matt, the bassist, had shaggy hair and an easy-going demeanor. They seemed like really nice people, which relieved me. Maybe this would work after all.

Students swarmed the place a lot, even old students. I pushed my chair towards the photocopy machine as I quickly helped the girl to photocopy her documents. I pushed my chair back to the computer I was using before stretching the papers to her. "Thank you" she muttered standing up while I nodded in reply. I reached for my phone inside my bag and unlocked it. I clicked on my Boomplay and clicked on "Kinda Crazy" by Selena Gomez. Being the programmer that I am, I had modified my phone a lot. The song blast through the cafe as the boys peeped at me but I didn't bother to meet their gazes. They seemed to have started enjoying it because Felix started nodding his head to the music.

We'd gone into the federal penitentiary together, and we had come out the same way. "Shots." Cherry lifted a tray over our heads and made her way to the table we circled. "JŠgerbombs." I'd just picked up a glass and raised my hand to toast the groom when the lights went out. Music played in the pitch-black room, and the second the bass drum pounded a beat, pinpricks of light circled the walls and ceiling.
