I've tried all sorts of creams and herbs, but it just isn't working. After mixing the whole thing, I watch the whole thing come to a perfect blend. I grab my two test rats from their cages. "I'm so sorry, guys, but I really need your help," I smile apologetically. Hesitated before placing the poisoned cheese in the cage. What if they actually die before I could give them the cure but I brush the though away and get it to them anyway I watch as they rushed to take bites of it. It took less than three seconds for them to collapse.

"It's bad. I think maybe if I open the windows and air it out, it might help some, but there's no question that it's going to take some bleach, too. Lots of bleach." Jenny nodded slowly. "Okay. So . . . we need bleach. And vinegar and baking soda." At my questioning glance, she explained, "It's good for cleaning sinks and showers and toilets. Great for deodorizing, too." She looked back at my car. "It's not furnished, is it?"

I remember picking it off the floor when Nico had thrown me inside the room the other time. “Thank God!” I mutter, hoping coursing through my fingers as I turn it on. The moment the device displays light, I turn on the torch–rounding it through the area. The black-tailed creatures scurry away from the light, I knew there were rats in here. Licking my lips, my eyes followed the light, this place is empty. The only opening present in the room is the the pipe that runs from inside the room to outside. And the water it carries looks dirty and mixed with solid waste.

Everything happened so fast! "Stay calm, sweetheart! I'll get these rats out of your body!" Alex was busy pulling the rats clinging all over my body and throwing them hard against the walls. And the thing that shocks me the most is that whenever the rats hit the walls, they disappeared completely, leaving a black smoke trail behind. As if those rats were not real at all! What's going on? The servants came rushing to the second floor after hearing my loud screams. They helped Alex remove the rats from my trembling body until all of them were gone, and due to the extreme scare that I experienced, darkness overtook my system, and I passed out in Alex's arms.

He laughed at the irony: rats scared of him. But Kyle was faster than they. He zoomed in, using his instincts, on the Queen rat, and darted at her, grabbing her hard on the neck, reaching up, and injecting her. The rat hissed, trying to bite him, but Kyle chucked it far from him. He then reached out and grabbed another rat, and another, and another. In a dizzying array of speed, he managed to prick at least a hundred rats before they could flee from his super-fast reflexes.

The sound, the recent quake, and the smell of blood attracted the rats again, they left their burrows with bloodshot eyes and madly dashed towards the injured monsters. “Fuck! Rhino 4 and Rhino 5 help your brothers! Beenedict get out of the cave and finish the lizard with Skeletor! All the tunneling worms attack the rats with all you got! Earl and Rhino 10 prepare to attack if things go south!” He was starting to get nervous, biting his virtual nail as the rats neared Rhino 3, but the tunneling worms managed to gobble up the fastest ones, then, he hastily moved them to attackers.

The scissors were all rusty, uncomfortable to hold, and slightly prickly against the palm. Vincent stepped on therat, his eyes turning icy. With a swift jab, he plunged the rusty scissors into the rat’s neck. Surprisingly, the worn-out tool pierced right through the rodent’s head, leaving a pool of blood. Vincent stared at the dead rat beneath his foot, his expression turning sinister. Eulalia, witnessing this, felt a chill run up her spine. It was eerie.

He gaggled it, trying not to swallow but since he had been held down and his head kept in place, he couldn't throw it out. He ended up in a coughing git. “That was to warn you. That was water.” I dropped the can on the side and picked up the real can of bleach. “This is bleach. I'm sure you can tell.” As I opened the can, the smell filled the room and I saw the way his pupils shook when he smelt it. “Now will you tell me what I want to hear or you'd make me actually do this? I'm sure you know what this would do if I poured it down your throat. From your mouth, down your throat, to your stomach and then everywhere else.”

I looked over and saw a rat running along the baseboard before disappearing behind the dresser. I stood up quickly and felt my stomach turn. There were rats. There were rats in the bedroom. I walked to the window and tried to open it but it was stuck. I pulled harder and it finally opened with a groan. The glass was covered in dust and I could see more cracks in the frame. I looked out at the view. There was nothing to see. Just the brick wall of the building next door and a dumpster in the alley below.

His hair was slightly disordered, and there were shadows beneath his eyes that made him look as though he had not breathed properly since I collapsed. Neither of them had noticed that I was awake. “Yes, Mister Jaccobich,” the doctor continued. “A concentrated anticoagulant poison. In ordinary terms, rat poison. Once ingested, it interferes with the body’s ability to clot blood, which explains the internal bleeding and the amount she vomited. Had treatment been delayed by several minutes, the hemorrhaging would have become irreversible.” My fingers twitched against the blanket. Rat poison. Someone had fed me rat poison.
