Clearing my throat, I explained, “I’m a new student, just admitted today. Can I borrow books for our courses to prepare for exams?” “Can I see your ID?” she requested. After checking her system, she looked back up at me. “I’m sorry, but all the books for your courses have been borrowed. You may have to wait a few more days.” I sighed and nodded before turning away. Just as I started to leave, her voice stopped me. “Hey, new student,” she called. I turned back to see her pointing to a student returning books. “These are some of the materials you’ll need,” she informed me. “And feel free to ask your classmates for help if necessary.”

Alden raised an eyebrow when I suddenly fell silent. “I don’t think I’ll be able to bring the book with me.” “Why?” “Because I can’t leave the library with it.” I gave him a sheepish look. “I left home without any money, and I didn’t bring a letter from Alpha Samuel. The librarian won’t let me take any of the books outside.” “Oh.” Alden glanced at the book before walking back toward me. He took it gently from my hands. “The librarian knows me. I come here almost every week.” He nodded toward the desk. “Let me speak to him. But I’ll be the one borrowing the book. You’ll bring it to me tomorrow, and I’ll return it myself.”

Walking through the doors, I hear the shower running, but the door is closed and music blares from the other side. I pop in my earbuds, hoping to drown out the music with an audio book. I typically prefer reading physical copies myself, but given the circumstances, I would hardly be able to focus on the words. I've read entire books and not remembered a single thing as the words blended together in my mind. Laying back, I hold the bowl of fruit to my chest as words fill my ears, but I’m not paying attention to what they’re saying. Just a string of sounds filling my head in an attempt to drown out the sound of my own thoughts.

He walked down the hall to the entrance, seeing the beauty of crystals and buildings around them, the librarian looked like a dark elf, long blue hair, blue skin, statuesque body under a name tag and a tight suit, was looking at them curiously. - What would you like? – He questioned. - I'd like to borrow it to read the friends' book. - He asked. - Sorry, due to several theft attempts we will not be able to borrow it for reading. - He said. - So, can I read it inside the building? – He questioned.

"I've partnered up with the BeAudible company and we'll be pushing for more of our bestsellers," I took a breath before carrying on. "I'm pleased to announce that four of our books will be filmed next year, thanks to the Byron Filming Industry and Mr. Sandy Byron, the owner himself," I said gesturing to the middle-aged man, who stood up and bowed as the crowd clapped. "I'm looking forward to the exciting experience. As we move to the advanced world, in terms of technology, this time next year, the Dixon company will have a writing app launching," everyone stood to cheer. I waited

I heard a shuffling sound on the other line before I got to hear her voice again. Sorry, I'm just making sure if it's a wrong number but no, so who's the unlucky one?"
