She said and I smiled. "I helped bake that," Canon said with pride and we both just laugh with his mom. I never thought that this day will turn so much better. It started in a chaotic situation but I am glad that it ends up well. Canon has a similar personality to his mom, they are cold and serious outside but they are soft and thoughtful on the inside. I love how rich they are and yet they know how to understand various situations. I wonder how Canon's dad looks like? Maybe he's the serious type too since he established their company, right? He was also strict with marriage since he wants Canon to be married first before he finally gets his inheritance from them.

Kane stood in McLauren's office , the scent of aged whiskey and stale cigar smoke hanging heavy in the air. The old man gray-haired, fat, and always with a drink in hand poured himself another glass, his beady eyes fixed on Kane. "You're the face of this place, son," McLauren sighed, swirling the amber liquid before downing it in one gulp. "It's sad to see you go." Kane didn't flinch. He had never liked McLauren. The man was ruthless, a businessman first, a human second. But Kane respected him, if only because he had given him purpose when he had nothing.

“We've been attacked, Don,” A man said as soon as he saw Cannon approaching. Cannon didn't look at him as he walks forward, “indeed, you are as dumb as I imagined” a smile formed on his lips as he walks out of the building. Wendigo was standing outside alongside the Black gun, hands crossed over his chest. He smirks as he watches Cannon's approaching figure, deep down, he was happy. “You think you can defeat me? Dumbass” Cannon snorts, hands buried inside his coat.
