This is how it ends. The captain stands at the prow, his presence like a slash across the horizon. Tall and menacing, his coat whipping in the wind like a dark banner. A scar cuts across his face, bisecting it like the blade of an enemy. One eye is clouded, milky and unseeing. But the other? The other gleams with sharp intelligence and ruthless intent.

My condition couldn't handle the amount. I spilled the water out of the blue. "It's salty!" Haiban takes the glass from my hand and enchants it. "You're not good with visitors as always, captain," he teases, then gives me the glass with purified water in it. "You," the captain leans his elbows on his table, "brought a woman with you. What do you need to talk about with me?" he asked. His cold sharp eyes and the monotone are so unwelcoming unlike his laughter while slaughtering his people a while ago. What a psycho.

"Because exposed assets are liabilities. If your secret comes out badly, the fallout damages the team. Managing the risk is within my responsibilities as captain." I waited. He turned the bowl again. "And because—" He stopped. "Because what?" He looked up at me. His eyes were doing something I couldn't read, something that moved behind the surface of the usual carefully managed absence of expression. "Because the alternative was letting something happen to you that didn't need to happen. And I didn't want that." The room was very quiet. "That's not a captain answer," I said. "No," he agreed. "It's not."

A voice came out, causing a hush of silence in the room. Out of the shadows, stepped the least person I expected. He looked way different from how I knew him. And this was the second time I was seeing him today. Jason Myers. What was the captain of the hockey team doing here? In a place surrounded by such men? The fat man's face had instantly turned white. “Mr. Myers. I didn't know she had an affiliation with you.” He stammered, instantly letting go of my hair. Jason's eyes narrowed, “Now you do, and that hand…” his gaze zeroing on the man's hand.

However, this light screen could only withstand the attack of a partial Celestial Ranker. The man in the black robe then stretched out his right hand and touched the right hand held out by the captain to channel the light screen. ‘What?’ The captain narrowed his eyes, and his face under the armor showed unparalleled shock. The opponent's hand was a claw covered with scales. Crack! Then, the black-robed man’s scaly claw pierced through the light screen, grabbed the captain’s hand, and broke his wrist.

She did not understand why the Chief had said that. A pair of red eyes looked down at her shorter frame. "You will be a part of the Private Bleach case. I assume you have heard of Bleach." Her throat became drier and itchier than it already was. B-Bleach? The Legendary Greatest Swordsman? The Mysterious Werewolf Butcher? Amongst Commonerfolks, Bleach was some kind of twisted hero, a Vigilante that would rid the world of the diseases that were Werewolves.

Lianne angrily shouted. “Hmmm, Cain did mention you a feisty one,” the captain said, “but know this Your Highness.” Captain Mock then lifted her face with her chin using a small knife blade, hard as steel and well sharpened. Lianne’s eyes widened even more at the sight of it. “I am the captain of this boat, and no one is entitled to question me or command me!” he said in a gruff voice. There was coldness in his eyes. Just like Midas. Just like Garlow. The type of men who doesn’t think twice of spilling blood.
