Trapped Between Two Alpha Captains
Ever since that day, the word Captain had more weight than it should.
Besides, I hated the hockey team.
“Say it,” Zane said, “Say ‘yes Captain.”
With a strained voice, I said. “Yes…Captain.”
It sounded wrong. Forbidden. Like I was handing over something sacred.
Zane tilted his chin, a smirk ghosting across his face. “Good.”
His approval made my body shrivel in a way I dare not name.
He turned around. He picked up a rope—red—from the desk.
My stomach clenched hard. “I thought we agreed on no pain.”
