Feeling indecisive, Carmen stood in front of the mirror, wearing a blue long sleeve dress with its length reaching below her knee. Then she wore her hair down. However, the reflection staring back at her was not what she was going for at that moment. The bite marks on her neck were still showing, and the wound on her fingers remained exposed. In anger, Carmen took off the dress and threw it on the bed, and it landed on top of all the other clothes she had tried on. Then she approached her closet, took out a gray sweater and blue jeans.

“Isn't this woman an Agent officer who this afternoon was reported to have died in an accident while on duty? So… so this woman is Lorenzo's wife?” Carmen covered her mouth in disbelief as she looked at all the pictures of Lorenzo and his little family hanging on the wall. There Carmen can see Lorenzo's wedding photo and also a photo of Lorenzo holding a baby with Selena. Then Carmen also found a large photo with Enzo under the frame. With great admiration Carmen studied the photos one by one while thinking. Can I take the place of this woman to be both a wife and a mother?

Their skins turning pale, their bodies having sparse flesh atop its skeletal framework and veins turning black making them look more or like zombies. The remaining four had to find a cure for this ailment, "Black Death"; they called it, Kimora was created by them, it came with a price, killing everyone with dark matter and three of the elders died in the process, Kimora was so powerful it did the job but a little too well having a mind of its own the last Elder saw this as a threat had the Kimora gotten rid of and he vanished not to be seen again.

“You don’t know these things yet you’re supposed to be a baron’s daughter. Even if your status is lower than a viscount, you’re supposed to know something as simple as this.” Oma stood up from her seat, her hammer in her hands, and eyes ominous. “Unless you lied to us about your identity. Are you even a baron's daughter or are you someone working for the exiled traitors? Tell me! Who are you?!” “Wait!” Evy began to step back while she was stricken with fear when the hammer started glowing an orange hue. “I’m telling the truth. I’m noble and I live here in Polvaros.” Oma had stopped listening to her and started walking closer.

Carmen burst into tears, which everyone surprised. "Carmen, why are you crying?" Emma asked her daughter. "Mom, Haru is dead now. Mom. Haru was gone." It was as if everyone was deaf because of what they heard from Carmen. Everyone was to look at Haru and Arche's whereabouts again. "No, this is not happening. Wake up, please. Open your eyes now."

Carmen informed her she didn’t recall who took them and had no clue as to why they did. All the while, Alpha Ciandra was trying to send a link to her to see it was working. After Carmen finished narrating, Alpha Ciandra said, “I am glad you are okay, let me ask, haven’t you gotten any message?” “From the moon goddess?” Carmen asked, her voice laced with curiosity. “What? No, from me.” “No.” Alpha Ciandra asked her what she meant by from the goddess and Carmen reminded her what the canon stated if anyone stayed longer than they should at their duties, and instead of Alpha Ciandra panicking, she informed her to relax and things would work out well.

I don’t think that would go down well with his crew. “Hmmm, disappointing. Well I can help with that.” She gestures again for me to follow and when I hesitate, eyes roaming the enraged Carmen sitting near the doorway, she catches my sleeve and yanks me. Carmen is poised with a reply to what Meadow said, but I can see she’s holding it in and simmering, despite the knives she’s throwing with her eyes. I’m not sure what the story between Meadow and Carmen is, but I don’t get happy bonded packmate vibes from either of them. “Colton will be a while and my room is not far. We look around the same size if you roll up the legs a little. I’m sure I have something that makes you look less vagabunda.”

Carmen played with her hair as she circled around him. “She is mine,” he hissed. “Cronous stole her.” “And he’ll keep her forever unless you change your strategy, Clyde. Brute force clearly isn't working for you,” Carmen said, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. She stepped closer, her eyes gleaming with malice.

Carmen flipped her blonde hair, “Lorenzo will always love me and there’s nothing anybody can do about it. He should have married me, but your father cashed in on Lorenzo’s promise like a pathetic fool.” The two women stared each other down. My Cara looked like she wanted to attack Carmen and I honestly couldn’t blame her. I guess Lorenzo had a type. Blonde hair. Green eyes. First name that started with the letter C. I would laugh, but this situation isn’t even funny right now.

Carley replies as Carmen hands her the small medical bag that makes up Carley’s travel kit. “Which is why I put a bullet between his eyes while you tried to save his life,” Carmen chirps. She is very pleasantly happy about killing people. I like this chick. She would be a fun friend. I like her more than Jensen. “Who are you, Carmen?” I asked her, but it was Ali who answered.
