Lewis' secretary stared at the tall beautiful Jones mansion and shivered with anticipation. So this was what it felt like to have money, she thought. To live in a mansion such as this and drive these luxurious cars. If only she was as privileged and was given the same opportunity to live this life.

He hesitated and took a sip of his water. “I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl who I loved so much. Then a tragedy knocked on our door and I lost her 10 years ago but now I have her and she is dazzling. I am so proud of her and words can’t be enough to express how I feel.” Wesley’s heart started to beat faster. This was not a coincidence, Caroline was the lost heir to the Morgan Corporation and that was why things weren’t making sense to him in recently.

After her divorce, she has three men madly in love with her, a brother who dotes on her, men who will protect her, and a best friend who will keep her company. But what about me? I’m just the daughter of a housekeeper. I have nothing! Yet she keeps on snatching what belongs to me!

She turned to face him again, studying his features for a while before shrugging carelessly. "Well, Mr. Leonardo. I guess we haven't even properly introduced ourselves... I'm Hayley by the way. Hayley Forbes. But I preferred just being called Hayley though. You know, the only thing that excites me about that marriage is that I'm finally changing my last name soon. No more fucking Forbes." She voiced out hopefully. Leonardo had been startled as his eyes widened at the mention of 'Forbes'. He was skeptical as he looked at her, his mind spinning with thoughts. It couldn't be. He knew the family he was marrying from was the esteemed Forbes family in Clasold City. Could it be...?

She now realized it was a checkmate. “You see,” I continued, my voice dropping, but projected enough for the front rows to hear, “you spent your life believing you were the architect of the Arcony legacy. But the real foundation, the original fortune, the heart of it all… was never yours. It was always meant for another. For his firstborn daughter.” The gasp that went through the crowd was audible. Caleb Thorne was scribbling furiously. Caridad’s composure shattered. “You lying little bitch,” she hissed, the words a venomous whisper. “You have no proof. Those are the ravings of a dead man!”
