As Ronald fell on his back and Kyle raised his wooden sword, I asked Katie nervously, “But why does it seem like Kyle is angry and ready to hurt Ronald back?” Katie smiled, “Like I said, Kyle knows everyone. He knows that if he doesn’t make Ronald understand that he is hurting as well, Ronald will keep acting out. Plus, they are Alpha males; proving his strength to his stubborn little brother is very important to his ego.”

Carter teased with a smile. "Yes, I've been sleeping well lately. On the contrary, Kyle, stayed up all night last night because he had to have an operation, he just went back to his room to go to bed, his eyes are all bloodshot, and it's really hard to be a doctor." Cathy was a little worried as she and Carter talked about Kyle. "It's okay, Kyle chose his path, he's happy! Don't worry too much, Kyle knows the score and won't let himself get sick, he's very careful about that." Carter walked over to the seat next to Cathy and sat down, smiling and reassuring Cathy.

Tyler's piercing gaze rakes over my body from head to toe, taking in my appearance with an unreadable expression on his face and I shift uncomfortably, adjusting the rope by the side of my crop top. I clear my throat,"Hi guys" I say and Tyler takes his eyes off me, fixing his gaze back to the television. "You ready?" Kyle asks as he stands up and I nod, flipping the edge of my pony dramatically. He frowns at this but doesn't say anything as he grabs his keys. He turns to face Tyler,"See you later bro, we're heading out" "Yeah, whatever" Tyler says, waving us off,his eyes not leaving the tv screen. Kyle and I make our way towards the door and out of the apartment, heading straight for his car

Kyle chuckled. “Didn’t know rich boys got beaten like that either.” Kellan shot him a look. “Watch your mouth.” Kyle raised his hands slightly. “Just saying.” Silence fell between them again. Kyle poured himself a cup of coffee and sat across from Kellan. “You shouldn’t have fought Ryder like that,” Kyle said calmly.

My mouth was empty now so I could laugh with Cassian. “Laugh now, laugh all you want,” Kyle was not happy with our open mockery of him, “it’s funny until it happens to you.” “You're complaining over nothing,” I told him, “half the boys in school are dying for Betsy’s attention. And she's my cousin too… You should be grateful.” Kyle exaggeratedly rolled his eyes, “I believe I shall make new friends.” “You are free to,” Cassian replied to him promptly. Kyle looked at Cassian and shook his head, “I remain friends with you both because both of you would be hopeless without me.”

I heard a commotion coming from some of the office girls across the room which broke me out of my mind swirl. “Have you seen Mr. Hottie out there with the super sports car.” One of them gushed. Please don’t let this be Logan. I thought. The girls were all gushing over some guy outside. I looked over one of their shoulders and sighed. “Leah, isn’t that the guy who was at the bar last week?” One of my closest colleagues asked me a little too loudly, to drop me in it. “Yeah, that’s Logan Carter.”

A boy with dark hair and blue eyes said as he approached us "Kane, just let her go." Kane's eyes seemed to full with rage as he released me "What the fuck Kyle!" "Just shut up and get out of here." "Shut up Kane, get lost before I call your dad for her." Kyle spat as he pushed Kane causing him to fall into the railing of the stairs

Kyle complained while pouting his lips like a child, he folded both arms on his chest as he moved away to the back. Nektarios didn't bother with Kyle as he turned to West "Good day to you too, I'm Nektarios and this..." Nektarios threw Kyle a mocking gaze. Hearing that it had gotten to the part of the introduction, Kyle cleared his throat to look mature. Kyle smirked as he smiled widely at West "And I am..." A handsome light skinned man walks in and stares at us with an amusing expression. I blush and bury my face in the crook of Xavior's neck. "You must be the famous Victoria that Xavior cannot shut up about" I hear the man's voice speak behind me. I turn around to see he has his hand out. His hand covers my small one as we greet respectfully. "I'm Kyle, your boyfriends best friend" he says chuckling at Xavior who chuckles himself.
