My panther looks down, and I can see syringes filled with light purple liquid draining into him. He's already slowing down. Fuck. They're injecting Cleo now. I can feel my panther's body dropping to the ground. Fuck. She's stopped thrashing. They're throwing her in the back of a gray minivan with sliding doors. They're driving away. My panther falls asleep.

one young man smarted off to Little Bob. “Cat, would you like to handle this one?” Little Bob asked calmly. “It would be my pleasure,” Cat answered with equal calmness. “Please call me Cat. I have bachelor’s degrees in biology, criminal justice, and forensics, and a master’s in forensics. I am highly trained in martial arts, and I am fluent in six languages. If you would like me to prove any of this, please be my guest,” Cat said sweetly to the young man.

Miso was proving to be quite the adversary. Tomas winced as the feisty tabby cat surged at his forearm, her sharp claws piercing through the fabric of his sleeve like tiny daggers, each jab a tiny reminder of her defiance. “Bloody hell,” he muttered under his breath, desperation rising in the pit of his stomach as he wielded a slice of fragrant tuna like bait, hoping to coax her into the confines of the wicker basket. He accompanied his plea with a silent prayer for patience.

Fortunately, we'd caught it early enough that the baby wasn't affected. At the same time, I found animal hair on my clothes. What terrified me most was finding fur on my underwear too. "Adam, cats are the primary host for toxoplasmosis! Whiskers and Sunny planned this whole thing! They've been trying to kill me and the baby this entire time!" Adam stared at me in shock. "Leanne, do you hear yourself? They're just pets. How could they possibly want to hurt their own owner?" I held up the strand of fur that had been stuck to my underwear. "Then how do you explain this?"

The tips of my ears burned. A shiver ran down to my tailbone, and a fluffy wolf tail threatened to manifest right then and there. Just then, a new notification popped up at the top of the screen. Rylan Blackthorn just posted a new Tweet. My finger shook as I tapped it. The message was brief: Mischievous kitten. The accompanying image shows a majestic Maine Coon cat, its fur identical to my wolf-like coat, resting its fluffy head affectionately on a slender, pale hand.

I said and left. Agent Tom’s POV I have been at the corridor for a while listening to what was going on. I was going to ask her some questions. I was probably muddled by Melissa’s point of view, however the lady seated before me looks different from what I expected. “Hello dear” I greeted her, my name is Tom, am your boyfriend’s colleague; can I have a chat with you?” I asked Kate’s POV “No problem sir,” I said. I have heard Albert mention about his mentor Tom a lot times. We chatted at length he was more concerned about my decisions, pregnancy and mental health more than the case itself…

"Listen to me." Something in his tone stilled me. I didn't dare to move in his arms. He seemed to exhale softly, yet the grip around my waist did not loosen. He was still holding onto my tail with his free hand. "I once had a cat." He fell silent for a long time after that. In fact, it was so long I thought he wouldn't continue. Then, he spoke again. His voice was very soft, and he sounded almost nonchalant about it. "It was called Powder. It had pink and white fur, too. Just like you."

Celene got out of the truck after us and walked towards the largest tiger he was hissing at us until he seen celene then the once angry cat turned into a 700lb kitten. Purring and rubbing again celene leg when she got close enough. "I missed you too Zeus" she said as she petted him. He walked away then looked back and hissed she laughed the shifted ripping her clothes. All the tigers seem to relax when celene shifted afew Cubs came and jumped on her. The large tiger called Zeus watched Bryan and I like a hawk. He made it obvious that he didnt want us here. After a few minutes Zeus hissed at celene and the Cubs.

Caturix rumbles. I had no idea that they could switch like that without shifting. I have to say that Caturix is one imposing Lycan. He must be at least 8’ tall and he is all muscle. His fur is as black as night. I wanted to pet him, but during an attack is not the time for shit like that. I run my hand through his hair, and I swear he starts to purr like a damn cat. I nearly ask him if he is purring, but I do not think he would appreciate being compared to a cat. “Aww you are purring.” I coo.

"Well, um, it's uh, someone older than me. He lives in the castle and is in the feline species." I blinked, raising an eyebrow. An odd way to describe someone. I thought for a minute, tapping a claw to my chin. "Older, in the castle, a cat..." I mentally flipped imaginary files, figuring it out after a moment of silence. "The only person I can think of is Furo." Kole sighed heavily and tapped his claws together. "Yep." I blinked a few times, the information sinking in. "Of all the demons and few angels here in Hell, you were drawn to the tiger of wrath. That's, unexpected."
