Naomi was so angry that she lifted her skirt and walked down from the terrace toward the two Persian cats. The two Persian cats fled immediately, but stopped a few steps away, turned their heads arrogantly, and looked at Naomi defiantly. It was as if the cat was taunting her.

"Enough. He's the captain. Just let it go and head home—I'll see you after I check in." He patted her arm, but Mandy wasn't about to let go. "Why don't you come over? I made cream soup to thank you for saving Momo." Momo, her fluffy Ragdoll cat. Wade hesitated, then nodded and tried calling me. But my phone was dead. Completely out. Gia’s pose looked odd. “How did you know?” Gia grimaced, showing her teeth. “Even my cat can strike a more intriguing pose than that.” Raven pointed to the corner of the garden where Gia had just been standing. “You really have a cat?” This was the second time Raven had mentioned it, and Gia thought he was only using the cat as a joke before.

Her golden eyes lifted the moment she saw me, watching me calmly as if daring me to complain. Beside her— That shameless stray male cat lounged comfortably nearby, chewing lazily on food like he owned the place. My eye twitched. “Oh, absolutely not,” I muttered under my breath. Nyxara burst into laughter. “Oh, look at him,” she said, pointing at the male cat. “He looks proud.”

First, the phone was a bit outdated, confirming her financial struggles. Yet despite that, Celeste carried herself like royalty—it wasn’t about her clothes or accessories but her demeanor.
