Io’s Cursed Betrayal-Book 1

Io’s Cursed Betrayal-Book 1

It was a deep coal black with unnatural red streaks. A week before my sixth birthday my whole life changed. The home of my adoptive parents caught fire. Somehow I was left inside as our home burnt to the ground. I had chosen to hide and feared that I would die. Shockingly I did not. When the house began to collapse around me everyone on the street witnessed as I stood in the flames. They watched on as I didn't burn. They watched as I somehow consumed the flames and made the fire disappear.

The Almighty Dragon General

The Almighty Dragon General

Thea grabbed his hand and asked, “What’s wrong? You’ve been like this ever since you returned.” James told her about the First Calamity. “The custodian told me that the First Calamity is upon us. A third of humanity will perish. Not only that, but she also said that a great providence would soon appear on Earth, and she wants us to seize the providence by any means necessary.” Hearing this, Thea immediately stood up and exclaimed, “Are you serious?” “Yes.” James nodded and said, “Once the First Calamity appears, it would mean the end of the world. Though I knew this day would come eventually, I didn’t expect it to be this soon.”

This end is terrible. I strongly believe there is a volume 2 or part 2. I refuse to be left hanging and thinking of a million ways the whole thing played out. Patiently waiting for volume 2............

Clandestine Affair

Clandestine Affair

A day without a catastrophe is undoubtedly benign. At the end of the capital, a young man who was on his way home was hugging a pile of books and unexpectedly bumped into the man who was silently standing in the corner outside the public library. Being as thin as those cover girls, the young man had nearly fallen. He was sure he would have fallen if he had not supported himself by grabbing the man’s arm. But he couldn’t save the books, hence, all the books got the turf from the paddle of mud water on the road brought in by the rain earlier.

Hëna: Arranged by The Moon

Zed shouted words about danger and other bad things, but Caspian didn’t care. All that matters right now is Elora. Caspian made it to the threshold of Elora’s room, and he gasped. Part of the wall of the room had shattered, bursting out. Half of the roof fell to the floor. Caspian smelled something burning that came up after the explosion, followed by the scent of dust and the chill of the night. Caspian heard a groan. For a moment he thought it was Elora. Turns out it was Kate. Her body was crushed under the rubble of the roof. Kate groaned for Caspian.

The Supernaturals

The Supernaturals

Eddie smiled and told him he will always do that anytime anywhere. The heroes were at their house, princess Diana and Cath had moved in with them. They were watching a movie and discussing when the ancient book started glowing and flipping itself. They all stood up and walked close to the book. The book stopped flipping. Princess Diana read it out. "The return of the great witch shall bring a great catastrophe to earth, for her sins had forbidden her to stay in the realm of the spirits. She will conquer earth for herself when she finally finds the four weapons of destruction". Princess Diana finished reading and the book flipped to another page.

Escaping The World: Lost in Book (book 1)

Escaping The World: Lost in Book (book 1)

I dump my bag on the floor and read through the shelf while pulling books out and mumble as I go. ‘Even a book can be dangerous in the wrong hands.’ ‘Ignite.’ ‘Hell is empty and all the devils are here.’ ‘You’ll make bad choices. Sometimes you’ll choose the best of bad ones.’ ‘Tuesday is Fucked.’ ‘Everything’s a game. And now it’s your turn.’ I have a stack of about 10 books before I abruptly stop. "Next isle." I say and we walk up and down the library isles. I climb and jump to get books off of shelves and Aidan has to catch me a couple of times when I fell.

Tragedy of the African Cinderella (BlackBook 3)

Welcome to unedited Black book 3 of the Woods series. This book can be read independently. You can read it without adventuring into 'Married to a stripper'. I'll be extremely happy if those who haven't checked that book out do so. I hope you enjoy my works. Love you guys much much. Your humble author Zagzahzlau. ~••~ The Sunday night was frigid against unarmed skin in Buea--the city of legendary hospitality-- located in the southwest region of Cameroon.

The Idiot Intern Catastrophe

The Idiot Intern Catastrophe

In the end, she misplaced a decimal point, turning a multi-million-dollar deal into a one-dollar giveaway. I had rushed all the way to the high-speed rail station, begging and negotiating, even drinking with the client the entire night. Only then did I manage to recover the company's losses. Jenny pouted aggrievedly, saying, "Zoe, do you think I'm stupid? You wouldn't even let me do a thing. I don't know much, sure, but I've been working hard for the company. It's like you're biased against me." Since the day she joined, it was either she 'accidentally' destroying important documents or her trying to deliver water to coworkers, only to accidentally' splash it onto the power switch and black

Running Away To My Forgotten Heir

Running Away To My Forgotten Heir

My living had been turn upside down, and my staffs stood there powerlessly, there faces buried toward the ground. Jax was sitting on the sofa facing the entrance, holding a book I had left on the table earlier before going out. I walked forward and the damages got clearer; vases broken across the floor, and one of my favorite portraits shattered to the ground, with its frame resting by the wall. “The Unwelcome One,” he read from the book’s cover, slowly. “By Martin Crowns.” He looked up, at me, and I walked closer to him. “What’s the deal with you? Why causing all this mess in my abode?” I said slowly and my voice shaking—like I’d poured all my seriousness into that statement.

Her Resistance

Her Resistance

It feels as though the universe itself aligns against you, rendering every calculated move, every carefully laid plan, completely futile. Like a fierce volcano suddenly erupting without warning, catastrophe strikes with absolute, unyielding cruelty. It does not pause to show mercy, nor does it care about innocence, dignity, or justice. It simply sweeps across the landscape, consuming everything and everyone in its path to appease its insatiable rage, leaving behind nothing but ashes of hope and the hollow echoes of what used to be a life. The distance between their fragile taxi and the fleet of black cars was shrinking rapidly, trapping them on a lonely highway with nowhere left to run.
