A Cursed Celebration

A Cursed Celebration

"Look at you, Amelia. You're like a madwoman!" She pointed out the car window. "Do you know where we are? This is where the wolves tore Heidi apart! I'm going to make sure you meet the same fate!" Fear gripped my heart, yet I did not seem to care. Death might even be a relief at this point. "Go to hell!" Mandy flung open the car door and shoved me out. I hit the ground hard, but the physical pain paled in comparison to the sorrow in my heart. Soon, the car's headlights faded into the distance, leaving me engulfed in darkness.

AUCTIONED TO THE LYCAN KING

AUCTIONED TO THE LYCAN KING

My hands were flat on the surface in front of me. Then something inside me broke. Not cracked. Not fractured. Broke. Completely. Catastrophically. Like a dam that had been holding back an ocean for months finally giving way. I stood up and grabbed the edge of the desk. I flipped it. The massive oak structure crashed onto its side and sent papers and maps and pens scattering across the floor. The lamp shattered. Glass exploded across the stone. I grabbed the bookshelf next. Ripped it from the wall. Books rained down around me. Their pages fluttered like wounded birds.

The Mother who Fed the Dark

The Mother who Fed the Dark

Outside, catastrophe spread. Neighbors who had tried to assist her had already died. Helpers, distant relatives, even casual passersby became instruments of alignment, casualties of the ledger’s reach. Fires, structural collapses, sudden illnesses—they were no longer accidents. They were precise corrections, orchestrated by Sipho’s will and amplified by the darkness he carried within.

Ravaged: An End of Days Novel

Ravaged: An End of Days Novel

Clearly, there felt like there was more to this than what was in front of me. Clearly, someone wanted me; I just didn’t know why or how yet. The more I walked down the path, I heard some sort of crunching underneath me, and when I pulled my foot back and looked down, and that’s when I saw it. It was a pile of human remains that I had been walking all over; and when I looked back up at the sky, the bones, and the ash, it all made me wonder. What kind of cataclysmic, life altering event occurred here? Why did it look like everyone that possibly could have lived here once a upon time, just up and vanished the way they did.

Unexpected Fate

Unexpected Fate

“In that case, you’re not beneficial to this activity. You may go and leave this to me.” “Excuse me?” Why do I find it like it’s an insult? “We are partners, and we should work together.” “If you know nothing about it, what’s the essence of this meeting?” cruel it seems, but he sounds that way. I laughed, sarcastically. I moved forward and rest my two hands on the top of the table. “You’re impossible. If I don’t know about it, I can start to read it and learn from it. What’s the use of those books, anyway?” I pointed to the three books.

From Hate to Fate

From Hate to Fate

I murmured to myself. [Author’s Note: End of Maddie’s POV.] No one’s POV: Maddie was so drunk and couldn’t stop cursing Christian and everyone. She was watching the Eiffel Tower from her balcony. ‘City of Love? If that’s true, why am I experiencing this? Maybe I should go down there and see if there’s true love there.’ She thought. She then remembered what Mrs. Oh told her before. If she meets someone in Eiffel Tower, chances are that person is the one for her. She shook her head and laughed crazily. She was so drunk and high. But she decided to grab her coat and went out of her penthouse. She went down and left the condominium. She was so high and walking around.

Martial Dragon Emperor S2

Martial Dragon Emperor S2

BOOOOOOMMMMM “Hahahaha, in that case, I’m looking forward to it! I’m looking forward to the figure you spoke of, O Keeper of the Book of Heaven!” The core of that world shattered, and with it, the world that had once resembled a lifeless wasteland crumbled along with the destruction of that blood-soaked monster. Nothing remained of that world’s ruin—no life, not even the slightest trace that the world had ever existed in that place. With the destruction of yet another world, it signaled that other worlds would meet the same fate without assistance from the upper world or the realm of the gods.

After the Crash

After the Crash

He was laughing, his arm around her shoulders. I whispered under my breath, “Goodbye, Luca Moretti. Never again.” A few hours later, while he played with the twins, his phone rang. “Mr. Moretti,” his assistant’s voice stammered, “your wife’s jet— it went down. Just past the Atlantic border. There are no survivors.” Luca froze. The color drained from his face. “What… did you just say?”

The Rejected Goddess

The Rejected Goddess

None of them had rested. Even now, rest felt dangerous. Anything could happen. The entire realm felt as though it was standing on the edge of collapse. I grabbed the Living Book from my room and returned. Placing it on the table beside Micha, I watched as it slowly opened. Golden letters appeared. "Levi and Micha. It seems much has happened." Micha folded his arms. "Obviously. Do you have anything useful? Anything that can help us against Raphael or Roosevelt?" The book replied. "What I know is this: the chaos Raphael and Roosevelt will unleash upon each other will be devastating."

Rachel ABG
Well, there's nothing to do except to commend the writer .... the characterisation is insane and the dialogue too. And the forbidden love/attraction thing? .. can't say much. Author should keep up the good work
The SunLily
Oh... this is so emotional. My heart goes out to Michelle, all the pain she's going through because of the word "weak". Levi's pain is a hopeless kind of pain, it's so sad. I really hope Clara meets her doom, she's so annoying.

Cursed by the Gods: Cleopoda CBTG Book 1

Cursed by the Gods: Cleopoda CBTG Book 1

I have now come to the end of book one of my Cursed by the gods series. It has been a long journey I'm not gonna lie. I lost commitment along the way of writing this book, lost inspiration, even changed the plan I initially had for it. I am really glad that I got to finish it and if you stayed till the end I just want to say thank you for even choosing this book in the first place. I will start with the second book as soon as possible and do my best to make that one better. I hope I have been able to tell you a good story dear readers and once again I thank you for reading Cursed by the gods. Thank you.
