It smelled like gasoline and rotten corpse. I shouldn’t have left Alex’s side. I should have stayed in the hall, but he was angry with me and my heart couldn’t take it. It was my first time being somewhere I didn’t know of. I was scared. Who kidnapped me? What do they even want?

Chapter 5 Azuka noticed my reaction immediate, his jaw tightened. “take her upstairs” one of the guard suggested quickly. “no” Azuka spoke calmly. That single word made everyone go silent instantly. My heart began beating more faster and harder. Azuka looked twards the church entrance, completely calm. Like he already knew what was going to happen next, then he spoke without looking at me. “stay close to me” The word sounded like a command, something strange went down my stomach. Before I could process what he said the church door flew opened violently.

Just as I was close to touching it, my toes folded, and I lost my balance. My heart flew out my body as I began to fall. I expected to land on the ground, and break a few bones, so I closed my eyes, preparing for impact. An impact that surprisingly didn't arrive. Instead, I felt my body land on something less lethal. Then I perceived that familiar scent, and my eyes flew open, meeting blue eyes. “What the fuck have you turned my room into?!”

My instincts scream at me to survive. I’m almost at the border when something dark falls over my head. Before I can react, I’m slammed to the ground. “Oh, Goddess!” I gasp in horror. Fuck my life. Alpha Aiden’s guards have caught me.

But he’d learn one thing before this was over. I don’t break easy. I turned toward the stairs, toward the attic room they’d assigned me — cold, small, high up where no one would see me cry — and froze. Standing in the shadow at the end of the hall was a man I’d never seen before. Tall. Broad-shouldered. His eyes — the color of storm clouds — locked onto mine, and in that heartbeat, I knew. Nothing was as it seemed. Not the debt. Not the Alpha. Not even myself. He lifted a finger to his lips. Quiet. Then he stepped back into the dark — and was gone. [Chapter 1 Ends]

I opened it, my eyes scanning the pages again and again, searching for the mistake I must have made. Where had I gone wrong? What had I overlooked? A shift. My eyes lifted slowly, and my breath caught. Caspian’s eyes were open. He was awake. For a moment, I couldn’t move. Couldn’t breathe. Then everything inside me broke free at once. I dropped the book, letting it fall to the floor as I threw myself at him.

You alone is the person with me. I was about to close my eyes when I heard them closing the door and I immediately get up. I ran towards the door and my chest felt painful. We got down and reached entrance but they don't enter and People started dancing like mad there. Someone suddenly called me from unknown number as music was playing in the background i can't hear anything so i went outside.
