Cain’s head snapped to the side for only a moment before he turned to glare at her. “It appears we were both wrong then, doesn’t it?” Cain growled, grabbing her arm that held the crown, and snapping her elbow. The sound made me see red, and as she screamed, I shifted into my fur. The crown fell to the ground, rolling away, and several people backed up even though they were not near it. I could feel the power pulsing from it and was prepared to risk it all to kill Cain before he could place it on his head. He laughed in victory, throwing his head back as he rejoiced in his win as the shadow of the Earth covered the moon.

He screamed out as he attempted to crawl away but his lower body just would budge. "Well, that's none of my business. Now.. be a good Alpha and and obey." He muttered and signalled to the boy holding the chainsaw. The boy nodded and turned it on; the loud sound of the engine filled the air, same with the thick smell of Wolfsbane. "You smell that old man?? That's wolfsbane so hold onto something because it's going to hurt badly!!" He screamed out to him so he could hear well due to the loud noise coming from the chainsaw.

With a wave of my arm, I threw several more against the wall and then ripped off their heads as they suddenly burst into flames. As we fought our way inside, the burning bodies of The Outsiders illuminated the cave, revealing three other caves.

Chico groaned furiously as he felt disappointed again by Hamilton’s failure to kill Sheila and Clara, knowing that he would not harm them after consuming the blood of the man he had caught.

I rifled through my sketchbook, praying he left me alone like everyone else had. "I know you can draw. It's so beautiful. What's that? " he asked pointing at my newest sketch. I shut the book, sliding it out of his reach. I glared at him, not quite used to anyone disturbing me. He met my gaze coolly. " Ah! Where are my manners? " he said. I mumbled, "probably in your half eaten sandwich". He smiled. "Who knew you had a sense of humour? My name is Matthew. L. Henderson." I rolled my eyes, not caring I was sitting next to the mayor's son. He cocked his head, clearly waiting for me to introduce myself like the lady I wasn't.

"When we get home we'll start decorating for Christmas, you'll like that won't you Ameli-" he smiles, but before he could finish his sentence he's smacked around the head with something, he immediately drops to the floor while my arm is grabbed and I'm pulled backwards.

I turned to face the guy with the chain, who looked hesitant now, his eyes darting from his downed friends to me. He swung the chain, trying to keep distance between us, the metal links flashing in the dim light. I waited, biding my time, watching his rhythm. When he swung again, I ducked low, grabbing a piece of broken wood from the ground. As he tried to recover, I jammed the wood into his shin. He yelped, losing his footing, and I took my chance to close in, grabbing the chain and twisting it from his grip. He scrambled back, wide-eyed.

I immediately ran to where my mother was lying, all I see is a woman bathed in her blood and with a shattered lower body. “There’s a kid!” The voice caught my attention and I saw a huge man riding a horse with his spears pointing at me. My tears slowly fell and the man immediately removed his spear and get down on his horse. “What did you see?” He calmly asked. I wanted to say what I saw but there’s no voice coming out, it’s like I became silent and muted. “Perhaps, a werewolf?” I nodded like crazy when I heard the word let alone my tears that never stops falling.
