The sound came from an unexpected source – the colossal crystal at the center of the cavern. It pulsed with an intense blue light, bathing the entire cavern in an ethereal glow. As the light intensified, a swirling vortex of chaotic energy erupted from the crystal. The creatures, caught off guard by the sudden surge of power, were thrown back, their bodies contorting in unnatural ways. The vortex grew larger, engulfing the entire cavern before shrinking back into the crystal.

As he selects the option, the metal setting holding the pearl lifts from the clasp, still connected to the hinge. In the tiny space under the amplifier, there are a few wires and a small crystal cube with a horizontal slot in it. The merchant takes a small thin flat crystal and slides it into the slot, gently snapping the amplifier back
