We walk along the hallway and Hatchet opens the door at the end and steps inside. There is a desk, a sofa, a minibar, and chairs. I move to the sofa and sit down. I grab the pillow and place it behind my back and moan as I lean back. “Comfy?” Hatchet asks with a small smile on his face and I nod as he hands me a bottle of water. I thank him and open it as the men either sit or stand. Antonio sits next to me, but keeps his distance. “Ok, what happened?” Hatchet asks as he sits in front of me, his elbows on his knees as I look into his blue eyes.

The final stretch awaited us, and with every beat of our hearts, we drew nearer to reuniting with our alpha and securing his freedom. It was the perfect plan.

I wanted to run and crawl for my life but I knew if I did that I would be dead so I gathered myself and just stood there with a blank face not showing any emotions on my face.
