It flashed like a blaze of fire, and I felt honour and glory radiate through me at the sight of it. Its handle was curved, with delicate carvings of wolves, mountains, and the sea worked into it. “And so it shall be,” murmured Luna Carla. Then, Alpha Felix stepped forwards.

“I have gifted you with a two-edged sword called The Marrow Blade. All you need to do is call its name. It will come to assist you. It’s unbreakable. Do you see the markings on it?” Charlene looked down her arm and saw all the sigils carved into the blade. “It also directs energy straight through it or blocks attacks. It packs quite a punch, so be careful.” Gi-Gi could sense the process becoming too painful, so she sent a cooling sensation to her arm. “That should feel better.” Charlene smiled. The whole thing was over in seconds. The pain subsided, and she had a whole new set of markings. “Thank you, Gi-Gi.” She gave her a big hug.

Those ninjas were his polar opposites. Charlie did not carry any weapons with him when he went out, but the Japanese ninjas would even want to load their throats with weapons if they could. Why hadn't she asked Victor or Alistair to stay with them? A knock sounded on the door at the instant Luca raised the knife. "Isla, Charlene?" Victor called out, twisting the knob, "why is the door locked?" Luca shut his eyes in annoyance before throwing the knife abruptly. Charlene and Isla screamed. The knife wheezed past Isla's ear and landed in the sink, narrowly missing Charlene's neck. Charlene's hand clamped down on her shoulder where the knife had sliced through slightly.Loud banging echoed in their ears.

Ammon removed his knife digger from Charlotte's neck and picked up her katana and handed it back to her. Charlotte charged again and Ammon leaped behind her back. He threw his knife digger at Charlotte who immediately used her shield to block his knife digger.

At his front holding a sword pointing to Ares was a man in a black suit, his mask was covering half of his face—more taller than Ares. Her eyes switch to Chiara who are also busy fighting, holding two katanas on both hands, effortlessly gliding her body forward to the five people who are attacking her. She advanced accurately, blending with the blades as if both her movements and the weapons were perfectly concurring. Chiara didn’t even struggling with her every attempt, instead, a smirk and fire were visible in her eyes. “Is this all you got! What a shame!” Chiara shouted, slashing the neck and limp of her opponents!

Since she could send someone to destroy Deirdre’s face in the past, she could do the same thing to her now as well. After someone brought a knife, she pointed at Deirdre’s face and shouted hysterically, “Quickly! Destroy her face now!” The man was stunned. He did not know that he had to do something like that at all. Seeing his hesitance, Charlene snatched the knife from his hand and said, “Useless! You’re such a wimp!” Her face was distorted with anger, and her eyes were bloodshot. She grabbed the knife and walked toward Deirdre. Suddenly, someone came up to her and whispered something into her ear.

It was a knife that was the same as hers, the only difference was it has a symbol. A symbol that she knew, “Phoenix…”
