The smile was faint, but it was there, and then, as if nothing happened, everything went completely quiet. Arturo shifted back to human in a second before wrapping his arms around me, pulling me in for a hug. My heart raced against my ribcage and I couldn’t help the blush that formed on my cheeks as I felt his naked body against mine. “You’re naked and there are kids in the pack who have fled their houses.” I said, and he chuckled before kissing the crown of my head. He pulled away to look me dead in the eye and I couldn’t help the smile that formed on my lips before realizing that we had one more loose end.

After another half hour or so, the tall figure finally appeared in her vision. It was Zachary. “Zachary!” Charlotte shouted happily as she got out of her car and ran toward him. “Zachary, finally! Do you know how long I’ve been waiting for you?” Zachary froze in his paces when he heard her voice. He looked toward the source of the sound, and when he saw Sotiria, whose eyes were red, was running toward him, his cold and handsome face darkened. “What are you guys doing? Hurry up and stop her!”

I know she’s both thinking about the safety of the pack and my own exhaustion level. “The police are on their way to meet Scar where Channing found the dead human. And,” I say looking up to glance at the clock on my office wall, “in just about six hours, Leader Bruno will be here to talk to us and Scar’s parents about their experiences with the undead, so we can have some ideas in place for when Scarlett contacts COWS. You know she’ll want you in on that meeting, too.” That’s another great thing about Scarlett — she recognizes the value that the mate brings to the table. Zella, Asher and Lupita aren’t just the mates of myself, Bree and Jacob, granting them the titles of Beta, Gamma and Delta

darkness covered half of the woman face as the only light glow coming from the small window above only casted her voluptuous lips which was very enticing for some men present but dared not to think twice to covet. Of course, the poisonous words further make them dare not think of evil thoughts. The cold brown phoenix eyes stared at the two who was about to fight as she opened her lips once again to say, "Aren’t we in a meeting? What are you doing wasting our time?" Hola said with a smile. He shook his head but as soon as he saw Hola walking away he moved to a corner, I followed him and we both changed into our human form and then wore our shirts and pants. “Hola” Archer called and she turned back. She ran towards him and hugged him. I glanced at Celesta who had already changed into her human, she was furious and couldn't take it anymore when she pushed Hola away from Archer. Hola fell landing her butt on the floor, her friends ran to meet her.

I groan internally. My name is Mariah Cruz. I'm 17 years old and starting my junior year today. My Father, Mark Cruz, is the current Beta of our pack, The Royal Moon Pack, and my mother, Jennifer Diaz, is the Beta female. My Brother Josh Cruz is 18 years old and a senior in High School. He is training to become the next Beta when our Alpha, Jason Adams, decides to retire and hand the title to his eldest son, Nick Adams. Nick is 18 and is also a senior in high school. He is also my brother's best friend.

Charlotte glanced at the approaching figure. It was the time for her session with Matt and she was already feeling drained. Not only the initiation ceremony was stressing her out but the fact that Azraiel won’t be here for two days was also putting a hamper on her mood. “Luna!” Matt bowed his head slightly. “Please, just call me Charlotte.” It was weird hearing it. Luna. “As you wish.” Matt smiled slightly. “How is Katya?” She hasn’t met her yet but Azraiel told her that Katya was now living in a cabin near Matt’s house.

Putting on my black high heels I give myself a last check before heading downstairs as I hear the first cars arriving. Arriving quietly behind my parents as they welcome the first couple – Alpha Zachary and Luna Rachel from the Blood Moon Pack, I step beside my father in time to shake Alpha Zachary’s and Luna Rachel’s hands. My mother and father give me a stern look, acknowledging my close to late arrival. I smile and continue with some small talk with Luna Rachel as Alpha Jackson continues speaking with Alpha Zachary and his Beta Sam. Luna Rachel is a beautiful woman. With her blond hair, brown eyes, and petite frame she is clearly the light in Alpha Zackary’s eyes.

Mary exclaimed, folding her arms against her chest as her brows furrowed in anger. “Look, I'm not Yuna. My name is Cortana Teragon, a long-lost relative of Yuna Teragon. My friend and I were able to cross into the world using her magic. We're here to see Yuna; we have information we believe might interest her,” Cortana said, stepping forward. The man stared at Cortana for a moment. He suddenly pulled out his sword—a curved and broad talwar with a golden handle. He pointed the sword at Cortana, then yelled.

Jairon commented to me, then turned behind him. I saw his brow furrow in surprise. I took advantage of that to stand up and motioned to my companions to come closer. I want to laugh because they tortured me with their glares at the same time. "Bae, these are my friends. The Atrómitos Orgánosi heads are Aycxe, Shiela, Noella, and Sophia." I pointed them one by one. "He's my husband, Matthew," said Sophia as she put her hand on her husband's arm.
