They were simply good novels, or what appeared, from the evidence of the way she held them, the specific and attentive quality of a woman who was genuinely inside a book rather than processing it, to be good novels. She had read one I recognized. She had read several I did not.

Rosalie was beginning to see her in a new light. The author was a very resilient and strong-willed woman, which was a stark difference from her novel. She should have known. The values exemplified in a novel didn’t necessarily represent those of the author. An author simply writes a story filled with many different characters. If their values all represented that of the author, the author would have to be schizophrenic or take on many different faces.

At least, even just in her novels, she would create friends that wanted her. At least, even just in her novels, she would be able to live the life she could never have lived in reality. At least, even if it's just in her novels, she wouldn't be alone. Day and night she wrote and wrote until she filled pages and pages with words of truth. She wrote until there wasn't a fairy tale lie she couldn't expose anymore.

They have strong personalities but poor brains. They are incapable of fulfilling their goals; instead, they rely on power and influence to climb the corporate ladder. They are familiar with the characters, recalling their demeanors and lives from their time as the main characters ‘house and work companions, and indirectly involved in the main characters’ agony.

My breath hinged, I suddenly felt like an asthmatic patient. Fuck! What's all this, how are my character's alive. First it was Anna Steve, and now it's a handsome villain who wants to make me suffer. Now I can't help but think if there's anymore character in my book who would want to see me suffer. To be honest I made a lot of characters suffer.

Well, it's my fault anyway. Zeke Alejandro A firm easy smile suddenly drawn on my lips. When can I meet someone like him? Where can I find a person like Zeke Alejandro? A prince like him rather. I know he's just a fictional character but, I so damn love him. I always imagined myself as Krisha, the main character of the story. I love her character cause there are also some similarities to mine. When I read the novel, I feel like I was escaping from reality. I feel like I was in a world where I wanted to be at. Every pain, every happiness stated in the book, I've felt it as well.
