She has a straightforwardness that I admire; she embraces who she is, something I cannot do.

tbh i wasn't planning a happy ending but changed my mind. For how much i made them suffer i think they deserve a happy ending so here it is. somehow i feel that this story is a little special for me as all the characters are somehow representing my personality. i just write for fun but i wrote this novel while going through some difficult phases like university entrance and starting a new journey this novel really helped me escape the exhausting reality and feel myself again. to all the readers thank you for supporting me and thank you kongfu team for the contracts and consultation.

Chapters turned into a story. And before I could catch my breath, it was no longer a coping mechanism. It was a novel. In my story, the characters aren’t named Stacey and Noah, but anyone who truly looked could recognize us in the margins. The male lead is a basketball player with a fire in his eyes and the weight of his dreams pressing hard on his back. The female lead is older, cautious, guarding her heart like it’s glass but unable to resist the pull of something dangerous, something real.

I'm not promising that though 😅. AN: I want you guys thoughts on this question, *sigh*. I'm conflicted, very conflicted on how to describe Nathaniel's character because in my book where I've written the manuscript of this book although, it's a very short story with maybe 28 chapters. I described Nathaniel as a dark lover in my written manuscript but with you guys now, I'm having second thoughts of changing him to cheesy, lovesick guy yet possessive though I've already changed him to that.

Rosalie was beginning to see her in a new light. The author was a very resilient and strong-willed woman, which was a stark difference from her novel. She should have known. If their values all represented that of the author, the author would have to be schizophrenic or take on many different faces.
