Novel & Cerita Chasing Clouds Book

Not that she was complaining, she loved the mystery. Crouching low on the moss-coated ridge, her eyes scanned the horizon. “Clouds,” she whispered. “Everywhere.” The clouds weren’t just in the sky. They rolled and drifted between the trees like smoke, glowing faintly in shades of white, gold, and violet. She had heard rumors that the CloudClaw pack’s sky was never clear. Rumor had it that their witches had bound the weather itself to their will. But seeing it…breathe… was something else entirely.

It began with silence. Then shadows. Chloe stood in a vast, endless space. There were no walls, no ceiling just thick darkness, as if the world had been turned off. Her bare feet touched nothing. She spun slowly, trying to find a path, a shape, something to hold onto. Then came the white cloud. It hovered a few feet away from her, shapeless and swirling, glowing faintly. It looked like smoke and silk and soft fog all at once. It had no face, no body. But it had a voice.

Orange Street lights illuminated the bellies of the grey clouds that hung above and in the distance were the lit signs of stores and restaurants. Chloe didn’t recognise the place but something in the back of her mind told her this was a human settlement of some kind. It wasn’t in the same state but was also close enough to share the same kind of weather. The shadows circled around her legs, rubbing their pitch black pelts over Chloe’s naked skin. The fur was as cold as ice but as soft as silk and it tickled her fingers as she Idly reached out to touch them. It were the shadows that coaxed her to follow some invisible path set out just for her. Chloe wasn’t sure how she knew this, but the sha

It was downright beautiful and to be able to stand in the middle of this amazing place only meant one thing. He's dreaming. He turns around and saw an auburn haired girl looking up at the sky with her brown eyes wide open. Her long wavy hair was gently swaying along with the wind. Nobel blinked and frown. "What are you looking for?" he asked Ariz. "An airplane vapor trail," she replied, then smiled at him. "Look! There's one over there! Look Nobel! There!"

STORM It was the same dream again. I was running from something I couldn’t see. But the fear that assailed my body was as if the enemy in question, something far worse than death was chasing me. The clouds were pursuing me too, or rather the darkness had overtaken the clouds and had caused them to chase after me. But how could I outrun them? Just when the dark heavy clouds were about to engulf me, I screamed and woke up. I was perspiring all over, breathing deeply in and out. At least I hadn’t seen the ugly monster or the shape-shifting woman always donned in snakes and scorpions who kept chanting stuff about revenge and retribution and cursing my mother.

It was such a hassle to wash away those unwanted grit that made me cry liters of tears before. When it calmed down, I looked up at the dim, greyish, stratus clouds which covered most of the sky. The scene showed the whirlwind of events, the chain of reactions lurked in the corners of the property. “What was in the sky and you look focused?” The owner of the voice almost gave me a heart attack. I stepped backward. The curious fellow moved forward. This chasing game would make me crazy, so I stopped. Why were they here? I screamed.

I don’t remember the elevator ride down. I know I must’ve taken it, because one second I was standing outside a door that had just closed in my face, and the next I was out on the pavement, cold air biting at skin I hadn’t even realized had gone numb. Let's pretend this never happened. Let's never contact each other again. I kept repeating the words in my head, over and over, hoping that eventually they’d make sense. They never did.

On the day my daughter is discharged from the hospital after recovering from the flu, I run into my ex-husband, Zachary Levine, whom I have been divorced from for seven years. He is there to pick up his wife, who has just given birth. He looks a little surprised as his gaze moves up and down to take in my clothes, which is still stained from my child's vomit. I had no time to change out of it earlier. "Long time no see. How have you been lately?" he asks. I smile and say I am doing fine. As we are about to part, he grabs my arm. "Alyssa, our son misses you a lot. If you are having any difficulties, don't push yourself. The passcode for the house in the north of the city is still your b

About ten minutes later, the movement of the door has me turning to it. Chase walks in with a smile. “So, I found a book.” Really? “You found a smut book that involves a frickin unicorn?” He nods. “I did very well, thank you.” Wait, no! “Pink unicorn, it has to be a pink unicorn.” I watch as he sighs and sits beside me. “Pink is impossible! I have searched and I can’t find it!” His outburst has me laughing. “How about a human-unicorn that’s pink? I found one of them.”
