Emily wasn't thinking straight when she saw a bike on the road with the key in place, She took the helmet off it, placed it over her head, and started the bike. "Emily?" Leonard called out again as he watched the bike chase after the car. He rushed back to his car and started the engine as he spotted Chloe coming out of the hotel holding on to her stomach with a gun in her hand. He opened the door from inside for her to get in, and she rushed in, nodding her head at him. "Go... go.." she struggled to order Leonard as he zoomed off, chasing after the car.

But before she could ask, Detective Marquez cut in sharply. “That’s enough talking.” Carl ignored him completely, his eyes still fixed on Emily. “You’re chasing the wrong person,” he said. “And who should I chase then?” she snapped. “The invisible men my son described? The ghost kidnappers from a restroom with no exits?” Carl’s expression darkened slightly. “The blonde one,” he muttered almost to himself. Emily went still. Marquez noticed instantly. “You know him?”

Roman POV The crackling of the fire seemed to weave a rhythm into the night, a cadence that matched the beating of our determined hearts. I watched as Emily's gaze remained fixed on the flames, her thoughts a whirlwind of emotions and determination.
