With a cold beer can in hand, he gazed thoughtfully at the setting sun, reminiscing about old memories that brought a gentle smile to his face. He could almost hear the laughter of his younger self and Janet echoing through the years. They used to run along this very shore, their footprints mingling with the waves. He remembered the way her hair caught the sunlight, turning into a halo of gold as they chased each other.

The sunlight kissed her fair skin, casting a glow across her body. Christian straightened. He slid his sunglasses down the bridge of his nose. His breath caught. For a moment, it was just them, locked in a silence that screamed louder than words. His chest ached with the weight of everything unsaid. Then— The door slammed again. Raven burst out, bumping Mia without apology. She didn’t even look back. The moment shattered. Christian blinked and slid his sunglasses back on. The warmth in the air dissipated. “We’re so late,” Raven huffed, throwing herself forward. “I’m serious—we need to leave now.”

The sun began to set below the horizon, the sky painted in vibrant orange and pink mixed with white baby clouds. As they gathered on the sand and watched the sunset together, their laughter blended with the loud waves sound, creating a cheerful atmosphere. At a distance, Aaron's gaze remains on laughter shining in the sunset, her hands gripped with Nate's. His smile faded in disappointment crossed his face, his jaw tightening in pain watching Nate's smile. He pulled his jacket tighter around himself and began walking towards the villa.

The afternoon of the wedding, the Spanish air hung heavy and stifling. When everyone arrived at Castillo de Sol, excitement buzzed through the guests. They wandered the grounds, snapping pictures. Even Mr. and Mrs. Dawson beamed, pulling Tania close for countless photos. Only Shane frowned at his phone, staring at the empty thread. Chase caught her and spun her once before pulling her close, his laughter echoing with hers. Soon they sat on the sand, Chase was with his legs stretched out, Delilah sitting between them. Her head rested gently against his chest as his fingers slowly combed through her hair. The sunset melted into the ocean, soft and golden.

We got out and halted our footsteps by the front of the car, admiring the setting sun and all the colors in the sky. "You ready?" I asked as I took the position, looking like I was about to run in a track event after the gun sounded. "Ready for what?" I looked up and informed him as if it were obvious, "We are going to chase the sunlight." Kiran looked back to the horizon and stared for a moment before laughing, "You aren't serious." "I told you I was going to show you how I have fun," I straightened to look at him in the eye before gesturing to the sun, "This is my fun."

"Yes" He swoops me off my feet grinning, twirling me around while I giggled. He places me back on my feet. "Good. Now let's go make babies" "What?" I laugh. THE END!!! I found myself walking in the sand, feeling its warmth as I prepared myself to welcome the night. I saw a man in the distance. I recognized him, it was my mate Hector. He was standing staring at the sunset too. "Hector!" I called his name but he didn't even dare to look in my direction. I'm not sure if he can hear me. I walked closer to him, I want to talk to him, hug him, and tell him how much I love him.

The waves rolled and crashed before coming at them again, but not violently. Soft and serene, like the flow of music. The sun cast a golden orange glow in the distance as it disappeared along the horizon The sunset was beautiful, like fading music. Kayden held Crystal's icy hands, feeling bubbles in his chest. He gave her his jacket because she was cold, but she wanted to watch the sunset. The citric scent of her shampoo tickled his nose. When she placed her head on her shoulders, it smelled so lovely he barely stopped himself from taking a bite of her head.
