The Billionaire's Replacement Bride

The Billionaire's Replacement Bride

So, there's no alcohol here," he replied. Ariana nodded. Ariana explored the apartment, opening every door and observing what was inside while Chris cooked. Shortly after, Chris called her. He had prepared a stir-fry with fillet chicken, sliced onions, and green bell peppers. Mashed potatoes and a few sausages accompanied the dish. Smelling the aroma, Ariana tried her best not to drool. "Does food really have a different smell when it's cooked by a skilled chef? Or is it just me being extra?" Ariana chuckled from behind the bar table.

Jensen

Jensen

Jensen’s POV The next morning I woke early and went downstairs to the kitchen. I decided that I wanted to show off my mad cooking skills, plus Lynn and I had a big day ahead of us. I went to work making pancakes, bacon, sausage, and eggs. I had learned to cook from Mike and Catherine’s mother. She had taken me in as one of her kids and she was an amazing woman. When she and James died it had killed me just as much as it killed Mike and Catherine. I tried to shake off the memory and went back to cooking. I had coffee going and the table was set. I was just about done when I heard a husky voice behind me. “So, you like to cook huh? It smells great son.” I turned and saw Cornelius standing in t

He asked rubbing it softly “ I umm” I stuttered knowing the truth could break his heart “ she cut her leg shaving,” Creed blurted out giving me an ‘ calm down’ look. “ Is that true?” He asked looking down at me with his precious face covered with a worried look “ uh yeah it’s true.” Mumbling I look over as the waiter is walking over “ oh look let order” I cheer hoping to change the subject I wait for them order first “ I’ll have chicken fried rice with extra chicken and a egg roll with extra duck sauce please” I smile “ oh and a sweet tea to drink” I finish handing him my menu

“It’s not a big deal.” I sat and talked to the people at my table while we waited for the food. When she first got here, Aunt Carla gave them mine and Jarren’s order. I picked up my champagne flute, which was filled with apple juice. A few minutes later, the food came out. I had the Coconut Curry Chicken, with many steamed veggies and Naan, a type of bread resembling pita. I dug into my food, and it was delicious. I glanced over at Jarren’s plate and saw that he had Steak with mushrooms. It looked really good. He had his head turned, talking to Garret, and I thought about just taking a piece but decided against it.

she syllables between groans. “To what?” Mark shouts, nearly hysterical. “Crab,” Mónica sighs, nearly fainting. “Damn it!… Estela, what did you put on the ham? Don’t tell me it’s… San Sebastián,” he growls, dragging Mónica onto the sofa. I don’t say a word. I rush to the kitchen and grab the little bottle of dressing, which indeed has a huge crab drawn on the label. Who in their right mind adds crab to a dressing?

She let out a frustrated groan as she looked up in the shelf and saw it there. “Just great!” she muttered to herself. She had thought searching for the spice was bad enough, but finding it in the shelf was even worse because that’s where she hated most in the kitchen. She let out a huff and stretched out her arm to reach for the jar, but failed miserably. She muttered some curse words before giving it another try. Standing up on her toes, she tried to reach for the jar a second time, her fingers barely touching it. Then she felt a hard chest pressed against her back, Ian’s fingers slightly brushed her before gracefully bringing down the spice jar.

Nova

I went about my designated work thinking of nothing but what I needed to get done and the rhythm of the kitchen. “Nova!” yelled one of the kitchen porters “The Alpha wants to see you in his office now!” My head whipped up at this request and everyone in the kitchen was staring at me. With shaking hands, I untied my apron. Everyone was staring at me, and I was so nervous I couldn’t quite get the knot at first. Third try lucky, I freed myself and hurried up the two flights of stairs to the Alpha's office.

She nods “You told Leda here about the menu?” I shake my head no “No... but Leda loves pie so -” I don’t get a chance to finish “Leda likes to speak for herself” “Ahaha!” Peggy’s laugh becomes a hacking cough. “Do excuse me!” She mumbles “A girl after me own heart! Well Leda, if you love pie then I’ll bring you my best – steak with puff pastry lid. Mash is an extra £2.50, but I don’t know why I’m telling you that – you let Rasmus pay you ‘ear me? Any eels for the two of you?”

Jean shook her head, looking up at the sky. Placing my hand on her shoulder, I squeezed it. I knew this was a touchy subject for her. Her mate, Chris, was a wonderful chef. He was from another pack and moved to ours probably twenty years or so ago. After working a few different restaurants in the area, Chris and Jean opened up Ochoa. It was a higher end restaurant but they kept the prices low by using the local growers of the pack. It was and still is the best restaurant in the whole of the territory.

I was debating on giving it 4 stars because there is a lot of spelling errors. There is also a dead point but around chapter 70 it picks up speed fast. It definitely keeps you hooked with all the twists and turns. Great story line. Abrupt ending but I hope a sequel has started

I LOVED Sky’s story! Such an incredible read!!! I wish we heard where her friends/bandmates ended up but still. Praying for a second to see what happens with Heath and how Ethan (and hopefully Justin) deal with all that will be thrown at them!
