Dawlya’s Dragon

“Be safe,” she murmured. He vanished in a flash of teleportation.
Cain reappeared inside the massive stone chamber designed for dragon training and controlled transformations. Heat radiated off the walls. Torches flickered. And in the far corner Mikan was already shifting into his full, pure white dragon form, wings scraping the ceiling.
Next to him was Tia much smaller, sleek, violet-scaled, pacing in tight, anxious circles. Her tail was lashing, claws scraping, nostrils flaring. She was either stressed, furious, or two minutes from setting the room on fire.
