I run my hands over the book, my eyes catching the titles, A fresh Start, For Mbatha and Rebecca, Agony in get voice, Felicia, The betrayal, for better for worse, Evbu my love... I pulled Evbu, my love out. It's actually my best pacesetter novel. I flipped through the pages and sniffed it.

She finishes the fourth book in March. Not March of the sixty-sixth year — March of the sixty-seventh. Two years and one month from the first entry. One hundred and four entries, shaped into four movements, the final movement written in the last six weeks, with the quality of something that has been building for a very long time and is now simply arriving. The book is called The First Life: What the Practice Earned and What the Practice Cost.

Louder ones followed before the door swung open.

Upon hearing this, Vera couldn't help but say, “It's like cramming all the knowledge from elementary school, middle school, and even some college-level content into one book. For elementary and middle school students, this book is unparalleled, but for college students, its usefulness isn't significant at all.” Charlie nodded and continued, “Exactly. The thing is, I only know about freshman year of college, and my perspective only extends to the end of the first year of college. I don't know how many years of college there are or what comes after college. There might be a master's degree, doctoral degree, academicians, or even Nobel Prize winners, but I don’t know anything about any of that.

I have really enjoyed writing this book and loved every moment of it, but the story is far from over and book two will be coming out soon following Charlie’s quest in finding her hybrid mother and discovering what happens with Alpha Zach as well as what it means to be Queen of the Lycans. Does Charlie find her way back to Max or does she choose Alpha Zach? Will Max stand by his vow? Only time will tell.
