Grandpa began the story by holding the book to show us the pictures. “The stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there. The children were nestled all snug in their beds. While visions of sugar plums danced in their heads.” Grandpa smiled as he tickled each of us as he read on. “And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap, had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap. When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.” Grandpa was a good storyteller. He made such funny faces, and his voice changed pitch as he read.

Erica's excited by the idea of having a new baby brother by summer. Me? I'm excited by our new Christmas tradition. I get to re-enact our first Christmas sleepover. Sandy's even wearing that silly, ratty old robe. She's promised never to get rid of it. Christmas will always be bitter sweet to me, and sometimes I still get the blues and need some time to myself to think about those little girls that had their lives cut short so unfairly. It's a special moment, and they all feel a sense of connection and belonging. It's December, and Samantha and Andrew are getting ready for the holidays. They are hosting a Christmas party at their home, and they are excited to see all of their family and friends. They decorate the house with lights and ornaments, and they bake cookies and make hot chocolate. On Christmas Eve, they sit around the fireplace and read stories to their grandchildren. They feel a deep sense of joy and gratitude, knowing that they have everything they could ever want.

Their unspoken desires, like shimmering stars in the winter sky, danced in silent harmony, carrying the promise of reunion and the timeless enchantment of the season. As Asmo found himself amidst the vibrant tapestry of Christmas cheer, a whimsical thought took root in his mind, unfurling like a mischievous wisp of laughter in the midst of his introspection. Pondering the age-old enigma of Father Christmas, he found himself ensnared in a labyrinth of bemusement, his brow furrowed in mock solemnity as he contemplated the veracity of the jolly old figure who traversed the world in a single night.

Nahh, she didn't know Ziora, if she did then she would also know me. I was expecting her to apologize but no she didn't, she surprised me again, “Do you have anything to do for Christmas?” I couldn't understand her and she was fucking weird, “Young lady, I just helped you, I don't understand why you would want that information.” She shook her head aggressively as if trying to tell me I was thinking wrong of her, “I'm not weird or anything, I'm just trying to create employment for people who don't have anything to do for Christmas.”

) then I decided to tell her a fantasy parable to clarify my point: °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° "Long ago, at the North pole dwelt the children's Favorite person, Santa Claus. Every Christmas he'd Sneak in the kid's room and leave there a gift according To how nice they'd been all year long.

Reaching out, she gave one of the girl’s pigtails a tug. “I promise, there will be lots of trees when we get into town. But remember, we’re getting a little one this year, okay?” Because of the Grinch and his aversion to all things festive. “I know! It’s like a fairy tree because it’s tiny and can go on a table to put in our room because Kaleb doesn’t like Christmas.” Her head tipped to one side. “How come he doesn’t, Mommy? Everybody likes presents. And Santa… And the reindeers, and Christmas trees filled with lights and all the merry stuff… How come, Mommy?”

"That's what Christmas is all about, isn't it? The spirit of giving." Kiki nodded as she watched Santa pass out the gifts to the children, one by one. "It sure is." Children squealed with delight as they opened their gifts. At that moment, Kiki didn't want to be anywhere else. She and Evelyn spent the rest of the evening watching the children open gifts until they could hardly hold their eyes open. When the last gift had been passed out, Santa gathered the children around and read A Visit from St. Nicholas, better known as 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. A few minutes later, Abby approached Kiki, her eyes drooping.
