When Fire Meets Grace

When Fire Meets Grace

She looked at him really looked and for the first time since the fire, she didn’t feel alone. She nodded slowly. “Then we start here.” Victor smiled faintly. “Rebuilding the world from its ashes?” “Exactly,” she said, eyes on the flickering console. “But this time, we build it right.” As they stood together in the ruined heart of the forgotten city, the lights around them began to brighten faint systems reawakening, power grids humming to life. Eden wasn’t dead after all. Somewhere beneath their feet, the network stirred, whispering through the dust:

When the World Burned

When the World Burned

But because my sister, Raven Webster, thought Snowviper was too terrifying to look at, she stole Blazewing for herself. A month later, the whole world turned hotter, and the heatwave apocalypse began. Snowviper's power, just like his name, could lower the temperature within ten feet of him, creating a living shield against the burning world. Blazewing, on the other hand, carried the opposite—heat and fire. Raven took Blazewing, but she died of heat stroke in the heatwave apocalypse, while I survived thanks to Snowviper's cooling power. In her final moments, Raven was convinced I had stolen her husband. She whispered poison into Snowviper's ear, and he killed me.

STORMBOUND: Claimed by the rival alphas.

STORMBOUND: Claimed by the rival alphas.

**** I went to bed with that conversation still circling my thoughts. Lucian’s words. Blaze’s certainty. Raven’s absence. At some point, sleep found me. Not slowly. Not gently. It pulled me under without warning. **** The field returned. The yellow-green sky stretched overhead, heavy and wrong. But this time— I could see beyond it. At the edge of the field, something burned. A city. Not normal fire. The flames moved in colors that didn’t belong to heat. Blue threaded through orange. Green flickered at the edges.

Setting Fire to Her Lies

Setting Fire to Her Lies

Although this graduation painting had not yet been completed, it was far superior to any of my previous works. The moment Willow saw the painting, her expression subtly shifted. I caught the flicker of greed and jealousy in her eyes. I looked around the room. In the next moment, I did something that left everyone completely flabbergasted. I pulled out a lighter and flicked it. Then, I brought the flame close to one corner of the canvas. "Cassidy! What are you doing?" Jess shouted sharply almost immediately. Needless to say, she was the first to react. The flame licked at the edge of the canvas and spread quickly. My masterpiece, the product of my passion and skill, burned down to ash before

Wounded Rose of Garden Metro

Wounded Rose of Garden Metro

A sealed envelope marked in familiar handwriting: “To my successor.” Elara’s heart stopped. She broke the seal. Inside were only a few lines, written in Cassidy’s steady, elegant script. “You think this city dies with me. But my silence was never my only weapon. The ones who built me still walk your streets.” The Return of the Wolves By the next morning, the peace of Garden Metro began to tremble. A series of fires broke out along the southern trade routes — warehouses that had been recently reclaimed by independent merchants. Witnesses spoke of armed men wearing black coats without insignia.

The Alpha’s Regret: The Hidden Luna’s Return

The Alpha’s Regret: The Hidden Luna’s Return

The First City was supposed to be our sanctuary. As the transport swept over the final jagged ridge of the Northern Range, I expected to see the comforting indigo glow of the quartz spires and the steady lanterns of the Frost-Guard. Instead, I saw a city divided by a wall of white fire.

Hidden Fire in the Snow

Hidden Fire in the Snow

It was raining. But this was no ordinary rain; a thick, black, sticky liquid poured from the sky, burning my metal body like acid. I lay in a massive garbage heap in the city of Neo-Quebec. Around me were broken metal scraps, tangled wires, and the remains of malfunctioning robots.

The City of Love and Sinners

The City of Love and Sinners

She’s not exactly a hero of justice, seeing the fallen victim from ‘The Cannibal’ just made it worse. “Inspector, take Jaemin and me to the crime scene” Rae stiffened. “On it” he replied short. * * * Jaemin sits next to Vaan, while Rae chose the backseat as her domain. Apocalypse Elements Book One: Fire

Apocalypse Elements Book One: Fire

Yet the feeling was unbearable, I wanted to die. Just when I was about to let the despair engulf me fully, I heard Mosi’s voice in my head. I think it was in my head or was she talking to me? “Kalama, let the fire in your heart burn, hot and fierce. You can control it, don’t be afraid.” Her voice sounded muffled, like I was under water. But I could still hear her. Her words woke something inside me. The vision of the little girl passed through my mind, vividly. It gave me the desire to make the fire burn in my heart.

I like your idea for a story. I would love to read this book and find out what you have prepared for the readers. End of the world stuff are from my favorites, but there aren't many books with this motive ;)
