“That is my Luna you are talking about. In two hours, she gets my mark. We do not talk like that anymore.”
He shrugs his shoulders. He doesn't care. “If you say so, mate.”
“I do,” I say. I look at myself in the big silver mirror above the fire in the Alpha's den. I have my best clothes on because I was supposed to be the backup leader today. My tunic is grey wool, my vest is dark leather emphasizing my broad shoulders, and my cloak is sky blue. I look like a true warrior prince.
I wonder what my Luna will think when she looks into my eyes.
