The moons gift
The wisp started to climb upwards again as I looked up, searching for cracks I can hold onto as I started to climb up.
Thunder hit the mountain, almost hitting me, making me lose a hold as my hand slipped out from the tiny crack, leaving me to hang as I kept my hold with only one hand.
"O, dear Goddess," I said into the air, as I looked down and all I could see was pure darkness and raging wind that made trees swing.
Swallowing, I looked up into the sky and yelled, “I am not giving up! Do you hear me?!”
Feeling determination rising inside me, I tried to pull myself up with the only hand that was still holding to the mountain but I failed.
