I pointed at the dismantled clock, my eyes not leaving the small, evil-looking camera. “Since when has that clock been there?”
He blinked, clearly not expecting that question. “That clock?” he muttered, glancing between me and the wall. He paused, thinking. “It’s been there for a long time. Since your grandfather was still in office, I believe.”
