When Cody got back to his car he wept like a baby. “I’m sorry Myra! I shouldn’t have done this to you” he wept and wept and then drove to pick Seth up with very blurred vision. When he got to the house he was about to evacuate, he broke down and cried again. Seth stood there watching him helplessly, he was crying so hard he could barely catch his breath. “It hurts so bad Seth, it hurts more than Annalise” he wept.

"No no no no, no baby girl don't leave me! Please don't leave me! I just finally found you!" He says as she lets out her last breath. His forehead falling against hers as he breaks down crying. He screams and cries as he rocks back and forth, collecting her body against him tighter. He screams even louder, this time. It's not from heartache, It's from the excruciating pain of feeling your mate die. Asher comes sliding into the room, alarmed at hearing Ryder like this. "What's going on?" He asked as he looks at Ryder confused. "That's his mate."

You will catch a cold.” Chris shook his mum slowly Disoriented, she looked at her son, “I must have slept off while cleaning.” Chris knew this wasn’t true because the glasses he broke in anger were still scattered on the floor and from the way his mum was curled up on the ground, he knew she had been crying. But he didn't say anything but helped her to the yellow faded couch in the living room.

The pain was unbearable, a storm of regret and sorrow ripping through him. Ryder, standing off to the side, spoke quietly, his voice hollow. "Only Damon and Marcus could be recognized. The rest... turned to ashes." His hazel eyes, usually bright with life, were now dull, drained of any spark. The weight of the tragedy hung over him, and his tall frame sagged with grief. He stared at the ground, unable to meet anyone’s gaze.

I cry for the decade I lost, for the fucking game I’ve been a fool for, and for Colt, the man who finally, truly, broke me. “He told me,” I sob into Rhysand’s shirt. “He told me everything.” Rhysand’s grip tightens, his hand sliding up to cradle the back of my head, shielding me from the world. “I’m sorry, Rain,” he whispers, his voice steady and patient. I don’t know how long I cry for but by the time I’m done, I find myself on Rhysand’s bed. He draws back slowly, wiping my cheeks with his thumbs before letting me go. He pushes a large shirt into my hands.

Everything started to go black again even though I was fighting, it was too late, and it went dark. “Aurora, my love I’m not sure if you can hear me but please come back to me, come back to all of us. I can’t bear the thought of living my life without you.” Ryder said, he was crying, and I just wanted to tell him I was ok, but I still couldn’t move, this was starting to be very frustrating, and I hope I’m not going to be like this for the rest of my life.

There is blood everywhere. It is not hers. Dad lies beside her, completely still. My mind struggles to understand. I keep staring at him, waiting for him to move. He does not. A cold weight settles in my chest. This is real. A broken sound escapes me as tears fill my eyes. “He’s gone,” I whisper. “And I’m still here.” My breathing turns uneven. I stare at him, hoping for any sign that this is not final. Nothing changes. Cody moves past me and drops beside Mom. Her hands are covered in blood as they shake.

I wanted to go back in time. I didn't even realise I was crying- sobbing, even- until a pair of strong hands pulled me from the shower, switching off the water in the process. I slammed against Alpha Rhodes' chest, my body crumpled in his arms as the uncontrollable emotion came pouring out of me. I lost all rationality there as he held me, panic stricken gasps and sobs the only soundtrack of my breakdown. Rhodes didn't say a word, just ran a hand over my wet, matted hair and rocked me gently back and forth. He was just there, the way he had been during every one of these traumatic crescendos. He was just there. It almost broke my heart even further.

I rush to him on the ground. "What the heck?. Cody wake up." I shake him violently and now I'm thinking Ander might've killed him. "What the fuck is wrong with you?. Get up from the ground." I don't know why I'm crying. Maybe because of Cody, maybe because everything is just insanely fucked up. I don't know but the tears won't stop streaming down my face. "I should be asking you that. What are you doing here Ander. Why won't you leave me alone?"

By hearing the news, he barged in to the room shouting: "WHERE is dado..tell me she's ok... Hayat please" he was crying and his eyes were red... "why you stop pumping...Why you people stop pumping...I will do it for her..." HE was moving here and there shouting. I have never seen him so raw.He was always in control of his emotions. "I would do it for her thousand times, If it makes her alive.Please tell me Haya she's ok."..tears were rolling uncontrollably through his face.
