Chapter 81– What He Doesn’t See Ryder’s POV It was strange how quiet everything felt after that night. I couldn’t stop replaying it in my head—the way his voice broke, the way his hands shook when he finally let go of everything he’d been holding inside. I’d never seen him cry before. I didn’t even think he could. But he did. And it tore something in me open.

My makeup was streaked down my face, and my loose hair stuck to my wet cheeks. Ryder dropped to his knees right in front of me on the pavement, not caring about his clothes or who might see. His big hands cupped my face gently, thumbs wiping away tears that just kept falling. “Hey, hey, breathe. I’m here. I followed you because I was worried. What happened? Talk to me, please.” I shook my head, my shoulders heaving with each sob. The news footage kept replaying in my mind ... Victor standing there pretending to grieve, my mom’s covered body on that stretcher. “She’s gone, Ryder. My mom… she’s dead.”

Robyn: This has been the worst 48 hours of my life. Cody still hasn't woken up. Doc said he will be fine but I don't believe it. He is just laying there and not moving. I wish he will just wake up already.I don't know what I will do if he doesn't make it. And to add to this stress we have both Mc's in our clubhouse. These assholes have broken 3 tables and we only have two pool cues left. Crystal and I have been yelling and screaming more than anything. I'm about to do something drastic but Cody needs to wake his ass up get these guys in control.

Rodex and Popsy take another car not without ordering their boys to do a clean up before they left.

Vincent screams as the bullet hits his stomach and he falls to the ground, losing blood at a fast rate. “Ryder!” Scarlett screams as Jim and Troy’s groups barge into the scene, taking down the remaining guards. Ryder collapses on the ground. The jacket is bullet proof but Ryder isn’t fainting from that. His vision is gone. Bloody tears flow from his eyes and he slowly slips into unconsciousness. “Ryder!” He can hear her voice but it’s faint. Her beautiful face is flashing in front of him for the last time and he knows he’ll never see it again. He wants to tell her that he’s sorry for everything but the words won’t come.

He said so I was surprised from what I heard. "I love you Quin, I love you so much." He added and he hugged me very tightly. I could feel the speed of his heartbeat and I knew he was crying as we hugged. I didn't know what I could do to at least alleviate the pain Cody was feeling right now so I hugged him very tightly and said "That's enough Cody, Please." and me? I don't know what I can do and feel from what I know right now, it's like my chest and brain are going to explode, I'm hurting, when will my suffering end?

That was the last straw that broke him down in tears. "Why? Rosanne, why does it have to be you? "Get up!
