Rise of a Queen - Book 2

Rise of a Queen - Book 2

“I am afraid it is true. I would urge you to talk to your mother about the particulars. I was never quite sure who your father was. They were both born with the same gifts as you. Both are descendants of Arcas, a hunter, and the first bear shifter. Condemned to live as a bear when he accidentally tried to kill his mother, but the moon goddess took pity on him and allowed him to walk as a man every full moon until he was cast into the sky with his mother and became what you know as Ursa Minor, his mother Ursa Major. This is why we can see Ursa Major all year round, but Ursa Minor secretly disappears every now and then. Your spirit animal is Arcas, is he not?” “Yes, Orion asked what his name w

JWGStout has done it again! I loved the story and character development. The story really is a roller coaster, and I’m so happy for Lamia! But there are so many questions at the end, and so many opportunities for the other leading characters. I can’t wait to get into the next 3 books!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Pregnant And Rejected On Her Wedding Day

Pregnant And Rejected On Her Wedding Day

He was really intrigued with the story. "Long ago, there was a young hunter named Orion, who was beloved by the goddess Artemis," Kiara began. "One day, Orion was hunting a giant scorpion, which was sent by the goddess Hera to kill him. But Artemis intervened, and placed Orion in the sky as a constellation, so that he would be immortal and safe from harm." "That's a beautiful story!" Casey said, his eyes still fixed on the stars. He didn't know his mother was good at telling stories.

Moonbound Legacy

Moonbound Legacy

“That’s not a map. It’s a constellation.” Uncovering the Stars They gathered around the table as Luca carefully studied the markings. His tone was thoughtful as he explained, “This cluster here—it’s the Lupus constellation. And this one...” He hesitated. “Lyra,” Isla finished for him. Their eyes met, the connection between their thoughts electric. “Stars?” Astra asked, looking between them. “What do constellations have to do with anything?” “More than you’d think,” Luca said, his voice quiet but firm. He gestured toward the journal. “The lunar spirit has always been central to our mythology. The stars—especially the constellations associated with wolves and music—are said to guide us in time

Lean, paper on clipboard ready. "Um, I know I'm supposed to be Virgo, by the zodiac, but I know, since I asked Mrs. Loop, that Boötes tends to be my major constellation," answers Hala. I recall that class we went through our constellations, and my constellation, by the zodiac, should be Gemini. But, after an analysis that we did in class as an activity, I got to the conclusion that I'm Monoceros. I didn't know what that was, but it's a unicorn, and I remember that all the time. At the time too, I found out Leonard's birthday, April 22nd, which would put him as Taurus, but then he told me he's more Eridanus, the river. Which seems to match. Taurus usually is associated with an inclination to

Black Zodiac: Demons and Deceptions

It's my fault why they weren't able to attend this event. Archmaster just sighed and shook his head. “Let’s not waste our time to people who aren’t here. Let’s have Ms. Deborah Castro. She’s the chosen Taurus, the bull of the Zodiacs.” He didn't waited for much time and moved over to the next zodiac. Aw, I was the one who should be blamed here.

Or… It's probably just my imagination. The constellations Taurus, Orion and Cassiopeia will all be visible tonight. These three clusters of stars have a simple story. The story started with Orion fighting against the Taurus to rescue Cassiopeia, but I doubt the story. Maybe it's the other way around, it’s probably Taurus who's trying to protect Cassiopeia from Orion. Hahaha. I guess I'm acting weird again. They say to always try to look at the brighter side of everything even if life gets tough. Yep! It was. Let’s do it always Athena.

THE LABYRINTH

THE LABYRINTH

“Forget the roots. Look.” Everyone followed her gaze. Suspended from the stone ceiling like macabre wind chimes were two weatherworn statues. One depicted a Minotaur, frozen mid-roar. The other—a heroic Theseus, dagger plunged into the beast’s heart. Above them, the Taurus constellation gleamed faintly through the open ceiling, the stars visible like scattered diamonds in the night sky. Terry let out a low whistle. “Well, fuck me…” “This place…” Lizzi said, slowly panning her torch. “It’s some kind of arena. Probably where they prepared the slaves for… whatever came next.”

All I Ask of You: Heron’s Landing Book 2

She wondered if Jaime Martínez knew he could crumble a girl’s heart with words just like those. They stared at the sky in silence. Grace swallowed, her mouth dry and her throat constricted. But then Jaime pointed, and he asked, “Do you know which constellation that is?” She almost laughed, and she found her voice after a moment. “That’s Andromeda, the daughter of Cassiopeia. Chained to a rock but saved by Perseus from a sea monster, and then she marries him. Perseus, not the sea monster. The usual kind of Greek myth.”

She was fascinated by the way that different cultures had woven tales of love into the night sky. "And then there's the story of Orion and Scorpio," Eddie said, pointing to two constellations on opposite sides of the sky. "According to Greek mythology, Orion was a great hunter who boasted that he could kill any animal on earth. This angered the goddess Gaia, who sent a giant scorpion to kill him."
