Contests To Enter Novels & Stories

After all, it was for his sake that I was doing all these things. Anyway, I am not supposed to say or think about this, but I could not help it. The Cindaly jewelry contest is ongoing and time waits for no one. I have to go to Cindaly City as soon as possible and enter the contest before the deadline, which is next week. Today was Wednesday, and the contest entry period will end next week Monday. Saturday and Sunday were the weekend, and no entry registration would be available on those days. Meaning that if I don't make it over there to Cindaly City either today, Thursday, or Friday, then I must make it over there on Monday.

Her lips were numb, and she felt like she would lose consciousness at any moment. Keeping her hand on the wall as a support, she slowly moved toward the meeting hall. Catelyn knew that it was long past her number. She had no hope of making it to the stage in time, and the worst outcome would be that she had been eliminated. However, the rules of the contest also stated that contestants could apply for a later spot under special circumstances. She would like to consider her current situation a 'special circumstance'. There were a few bodyguards guarding the entrance, and when Catelyn gave them her name, they informed her that it was past her number and that she was not allowed back inside to

If both of you agree, the contest will officially begin, she said, shifting her gaze between the two men. Darius hated such contests as fear crept inside him, but he pushed it down and leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest. What exactly is this contest about? Amara’s eyes flicked to Darius briefly before settling on Damon, who seemed distant, his gaze fixed on the untouched cup of tea before him. Darius, she addressed him directly. The contest will require both of you to remain in the pack for three months. You’re allowed to leave for important matters, but you must be available for your designated weekends.

Something that Ashley had put all the energy she had got to complete it. It was a competition open to all beings. Humans, Witches, Werewolves, Vampires.. all were welcome to join. But, no magic was allowed to be used to enter the competition. It would be assessed to be authentic with fair evaluation. A panel of esteemed judges would be present to perform the selection. Before Ashley could respond to Gina, she sensed someone was walking towards them. The scent was familiar and the sound of the heels belonged to one person Ashley recognised well. ‘No f*cking way.’ Ashley thought with hatred forming in her head.

I scrolled down and started reading the article. 'A curious announcement from the royal house of Medora, a kingdom north of Scotland. The king announced today that a contest will be held to find the crown prince a wife. Medora is known to be secluded, with not much news coming in and out of the country. They announced a test will be put online for whoever has any interest in becoming a queen. It does not matter what your nationality is, as long as you are above eighteen years old.'

“Looks like I spoke out of turn. The contest isn’t finished yet. I’ve just been given word that there will be an additional component to the competition.” “Whaaaat?” I heard people gasp all around me. “There are three pending entries left.” “Three?” I said out loud? Did that mean….was I still in the running? “I take it back,” Hazel said, her tone solemn. “I don’t want to screw ‘em after all.” She crossed her fingers and whispered a prayer to the moon goddess. “It appears that there was controversy over the scores for these three entries. The jury got into a dispute and they couldn’t settle it. So they devised a new plan.”

“It's more deadly than it looks, capable of poisoning one's mind and rendering them immobile. Only those able to find a moon wisp and successfully capture one, bringing them to any of the caves in the maps, and managing to light the torch prepared for you can get to the next round of these competitions. Today's challenge is dangerous but a Luna queen should be able to do just fine. A wave of whispers erupted through the room “If someone wants to leave The Selection contest, should speak up now,” I glanced over the other contenders. Lara, Mia, Maggie, and a few more seemed confident, and the rest. Unfortunately, looked tense like me. Yet none of them chose to give up.

I can just leave if I want, but the Class Merit Contest is hindering my freedom. In short, The Merit Contest is a competition where the school secure the highest paying job opportunities, exchange programs, and special post-grad training to the overall best class. Since they're judging us on the basis of 'merit', everything could be taken into account. From academics and decipline to social harmony may get to be used against us. That's the reason students here are super careful about what they do and say. So, if someone like me, storms out in the middle of a lecture, the entire class can get disqualified. And I'd seriously be WANTED DEAD OR DEAD. Which would defy the purpose of taking my own

"Of course, I am. By the way Someone from Vicenzo Company called me because they can't seem to contact you." " I changed my phone and forgot to update them so what did they call for?" "Well, they were asking me when will you submit entry for the upcoming Novel Contest." "I haven't really thought about it, I still have 3 months before the contest. I'll tell them myself." "They also told me you can pre read some entries from the website, some already posted their novel entry. I think it will be better, you might come up with better plot if you'll learn from them"

'Paragon annual designing contest' I halted, slowly scrolling through my phone. "Paragon is hosting a contest?" I muttered, my eyes scanning through every words displayed on my phone. It was a contest where talented designers upload their designs, and the best design with the highest audience votes wins cash price, dress of the year, and a percent of the sales of the dress. For a second, I thought of giving it a try, but as I scrolled through the number of people that already applied with their work, and some of them being celebrities who had won the contest three times in three years, I lost the spark. Will I even get a chance to win anything?
