Contests To Enter Novels & Stories

Some slight cheers are heard as they all clink their glasses together and down their shots "10 MINUTES TO GO UNTIL THE BULL RIDING CONTEST! IF YOU HAVEN'T SIGNED UP YET, THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE! 10 MINUTES TO GO EVERYONE! Everyone overhears from the announcer on stage. Sammy walks over to the table next to "Bully" to go ahead and enter the contest before the cutoff. Including Sammy, there's 10 total contestants. The object of the contest is to stay on the bull for at least 8 seconds and have the best form while doing it.

Melissa said and placed her hand on my shoulder to add further, “You go and study for your competition. Good luck” “Thanks…” I said to her and smiled. “Yeah well, um… Good luck Emily…” Eric said to me. “Thanks” I said to him. “I should go now…” Eric said to me and I nodded. He smiled at me and as he was about to turn around, he stopped and looked at me again. “What happened?” I asked him in confusion. “Um, is there any chance for me to participate in that competition with you?” He asked me. “What?” I got surprised while Melissa, Aria and Oliver uttered a short chuckle. “Um, no… I mean, it’s not on me, you know… We have been selected through a quiz and ah… Only two students are selected from

Nevertheless, I didn't let that get to me because winning the contest was all that mattered to me. I took a deep breath as I moved forward beside Jessica who threw a cocky and mischievous smile at me. I ignored her and faced the front. "Good day, the indigenous members of the Crystal River pack," "As we all know, today is the last contest of the five contests. The winner of this contest would be the Luna of the pack," "Well, today's contest would be quite different from the other one. The two contestants would have to go into the evil forest to get the Eternal Leaf of Life. It's one of the rarest leaf,"

Immediately everyone grew silent, equally curious about what was happening. "Everyone, I hope you haven't fallen asleep from that pathetic fight, but I have something that may pique your interest." The MC shouted out, piquing my interest. "We have a newcomer to the ring." The MC shouted, which made me furrow my brows. A newcomer? This was an underground fight club. How could a newcomer get in? As far as I was concerned, no one could enter unless they were on the list. Ace was the one that approved the fighters. They had to train multiple times before even being considered a contestant here. So what was going on?

Jacob remarked. “We’re already here. I want to hear what else they have to say,” Arda replied. “Alright,” Karina agreed. “Whatever you want,” Jacob said, sounding reluctant, but Arda ignored him. Surprisingly, so did Karina. “Anyway,” the woman continued, “we’ve set up a website for this contest. Go online, fill out the form, and upload a picture of your mark. This is now an online competition. Include your bank details, and our team will verify your submission. Winners will be announced on the site, and prizes will be sent directly.”

"I don't know if you'll be allowed to participate but it would be a good way to start building a reputation for yourself. This competition is for teenagers aged 12 to 20 and participants can play any instrument. Emma, I will be honest, you are the most gifted student I have ever had, you are a pure genius and I think it would be a waste to miss such an opportunity." I looked at the flier as I felt a bit bewildered. Not that I doubt my abilities and especially my talent, it was Michaël who revealed it so I'm sure on that side. So much that I want to participate, so much that I feel apprehensive about going on stage in front of hundreds of people. The only people I've ever played in front of a

“When exactly is this tournament? And what’s its purpose?” Elysia’s expression brightened slightly, a spark of excitement lighting her eyes. “This tournament is unlike anything you’ve seen, Danial. It’s held in preparation for entering the ancient ruins. Countless people desire to explore them, but as per the laws, only a select few can enter, chosen solely through this tournament. So, it’s not just any competition—it’s a selection process with serious stakes.”

“FOR this round, the contenders’ strength and speed will be tested. This time, the audience will not only judge but could also participate in the elimination round. The contenders would carry at least two people from the audience and race until they reach the finish line. To do that, they could either shift or remain in their human form. Only twenty-five of the contenders who would get to reach the finish line first would proceed to the third elimination round. The rest would go home. Best of luck, gentlemen,” Minister Apollo announced.

“In fact, he’s been honoring that contest with his presence since the first day. Always sitting in front, cheering that little girl called Phoebe.” My throat tightened. Dorcas stepped closer. “Now listen, Nora. This contest only holds once in every five circles of the full moon. Children between the ages of four to six are the only ones allowed to participate. Liora will never get this chance again. She will never be five years old twice.” I looked down slowly. “You’ve seen how far she has gone,” Dorcas continued. “It started with over a hundred children. She worked hard and made it to the final five. You can’t deny her effort.”
